Fits and works perfectly
This fits my LAN Scout Jr 2 perfectly and works right out of the box. I lost my previous one and this is much cheaper than getting a whole new unit.

Works but not a true replacement
The device works and allows you to test, but it's not a true replacement. A replacement should snap into the bottom of the Lan Scout jr, as the original does. These don't. They're a smaller form factor. They will get lost if you don't keep them together in a case. They do work, so if you need one, get it, but find a way to secure it or find the right unit.
