Wicca for Beginners: A Guide to Real Wiccan Beliefs,Magic and Rituals Paperback – April 15, 2015

This is a great brief introduction to Wicca. It gives you a starting point, with some key terms learned and explained. There are even some basic full page spells listed within for beginners. It was absolutely worth the KU download but I’m uncertain if I would pay for something this short that isn’t a children’s book. Maybe if it has adult illustrations? But still, great for a beginner and as someone looking to dive into Wicca, it answered some of my questions.

I love the way everything was broken down and easy to follow.This makes me excited to learn even more about Wicca

I am about halfway through this book and I feel it is informational. I like the way the author breaks down the information. There are a few questions I have had that have yet to be answered BUT as I said I am ONLY HALFWAY through the book. I like that the author breaks down in short meanings the difference between wicca, witchcraft, paganism, etc. I recommend checking out this book if you are new to Wicca and looking for a few base lines.

This is the 2nd beginners ebook I have read on Wicca and the first by this author. I have already purchased her 2 other books because this one answered several questions I had. I self identify as a polytheist and lean towards the Greek pantheon but I really bought this book to learn more about other polytheists, and particularly Wicca, after reading other books on Celtic and Scandinavian polytheists. If you have avoided Wicca is may be due to misconceptions which is why I avoided learning more. Luckily, Wiccans are not that much different from their polytheists cousins. And this book helped me understand their rituals and calendar as well as which gods and goddesses are important to them.

Thus is exactly what I expected. It touches base on wicca. Not a teaser but explains enough to move forward if you are still interested.

Very quick read with the most basic of information regarding Wicca. If you know nothing of wicca other than what you've heard/seen via pop culture, this will certainly shed a little light on what it's really about but if you're looking for an in depth or comprehensive text, this will hardly wet your whistle. But it's a good introduction!

Great little read that goes into the history of Wiccan. Gillian explains Wiccan in a clear precise way with a wonderful understanding to the difference of each person. Will look for other titles under her name. Thank you Gillian.

This book is really detailed. Wicca for Beginners is full of really good informative information and takes you through a great amount of topics and teaches many aspects of the Wiccan religion including wicca spells, wicca traditions and a whole bunch more. Written in a very clear way it makes it easy to read and understand. The tone in which it is written is friendly making it even easier to read. A great book for anyone who is looking to research Wicca and not only just for beginners.

I chose this rating because I found it being such a simple, yet very informative read! It was everything to start my journey including some history which was interesting. Would recommend.
