Good Item overall

Works perfectly for me. We actually use it for our young daughter who's bedroom is upstairs. If she's sick (or frightened by a storm), she can call us without yelling through the house, trying to wake us up.I don't understand the negative reviews, unless one of the units was defective. Things do get busted up in shipping.

This is definitely exact what we've been looking for. We can't leave doors open during the summer months but do spend considerable time outside. We were always missing the doorbell even with 8 greyhounds. Now we can take the speaker outside and never miss a visitor or delivery. Absolutely love it!

Vodeson asked for a review so I'll give them one. Upon installing the batteries the bell started chiming every 30 seconds before the button was even pressed. I removed and reinstalled the batteries several times but nothing would stop the constant chimes. Item was returned.
