Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back

Most games either love or hate busby. I have always loved the series and it continues with this release. The graphics are crisp and bright and controlling busy is great. Short game but the nostalgia bonus in this makes it worth the price. HAven't played busby before? watch some gameplay or rent it first.

I am an old Bubsy fan had this game when he first appeared, still love the game its no Mario but I liked it, just wish it was on Xbox or coming to Nintendo Switch

First of all I have to give 1 star for Amazon delivering me a used product.The game had only been out for 4 weeks and the game I received was not in it's original PS4 plastic wrap and there was a chip of plastic missing from the case with was not found inside which means it was bought then returned damaged, re-wrapped and shipped 10,000 miles to me (US to UK).Now for the game. 2/5 Stars.Overall I am pretty disappointed with the game as Bubsy is my favourite platform game back on the Snes.The overused quotes every time you glide and pounce, the lack of variety of enemies compared to the first game and the bad music.The company who made this Black Forest games also did a remake of Giana Sisters in 2012 and did a brilliant job with the music, gameplay and twin switch mechanic. I personally give that game 5/5.Now in Snes Bubsy it has many animations, death animations, victory animations even an idle animation where he breaks the 4th wall.PS4 Bubsy is just a stiff character that does nothing but sway about.Snes has 16 levels 6 bosses spanned across 7 'worlds' including the mothershipPS4 only 15 levels 3 bosses in 2 worldsLastly I would like to point out that on a blind run (first playthrough) you'll be done in this game in under 3 hours,There are challenges but these are frustratingly difficult with Bubsy's poor pounce mechanic which has no distance or angle control unlike Giana Sisters.I would not recommend this game unless you've played the other Bubsy games.
