Quirky Cool Cork Back Designer Placemats, 4pc Set, Black

Liked them so nice I bought them twice! Last year I got a set, and I just had to get another since someone put a heat mark or something in one of them. I say "or something" because the plastic coating bubbled up so I'm attributing it to heat. But this happened after a year of use, so I'm still content enough to buy again. Very pretty and sturdy.

These placemats look great and wipe clean easily but they were damaged when they arrived. The cork was damaged in two and one of them was bent. I'm using them as everyday placemats with kids at the table so I'm not super bothered but it is still a bummer.

Nice and thick corkboard placemats. The graphics and color are nice and bold. Our package arrived really quickly and seemingly undamaged but a few of the placemats were damaged on the corner which pushes up the cork slightly. Maybe more bubble wrap would solve this.

I really like the way these look on my dining table, however one of them arrived a bit damaged (that's why I deducted one star). The cork back really helps keep it in place on top of my glass-top table. It added great design to liven up my table.

Good for the price. Would be 5 stars if the surface was harder and the mats were a little heavier. The slide around a bit even with cork on the back.

I redid my kitchen with yellow accents and got these placemats to match. They are super cute actually. Unfortunately the material cannot get wet (something like cork underneath with the yellow part on top very paper-like). It means they are very porous so can't get wet.Also, the color fades dramatically and quickly. My kitchen table is by windows, so these would definitely have had regular sunlight, but they are barely yellow anymore after about 8 months of use.If you don't mind never getting them wet and you don't mind replacing them frequently, I'd recommend them because they're super cute. But if you're looking for more than a couple of months of use, you should pick another placemat!

Less than a month old and they are already falling apart. The product is flawed. If the item gets wet along the edges the liquid is absorbed by the placemat which then makes the finish bubble up. I would give this a vote as a piece of junk but hey I didn't have high expectations. I bought them for my messy 7 year old and the price was cheap.

Love tgese, only problem is they are NOT waterproof, so if any water get on the surface of where they are sitting it absorbs and stains the designs
