GenTent 10K Generator Tent Running Cover - XKU Kit (Standard, TanLight) - Compatible with 3000w+ Inverter Generators

Looks good, but tent seems smaller than I expected and assembly accessories not as sturdy, I meant the extension arm not as sturdy.I just put it on and set it up yesterday after I received it.I will update this review after I use it during my next power out.Updates:All went great after first couple of uses! I also upgraded it from 4-stars to 5.I took some photos to share.I’ll update all till end of this winter. So far I like it. My generator is Honda EU7000iS.

I have not even begun to attack putting this together. I opened the box twice and just said to myself, I have so many other things I need to do, this is going to take me an hour at least and it is not intuitive.I want to return this and simply build a wood shelter...easier and that says a lot about what puzzle this is....for the price, it should be put together. I want to return this!

Bought this generator cover and installed it. It's a great unit and the customer service is outstanding. I am in a hurricane path and Mark in the service dept made sure the unit was sent out to me in time. Can't say thanks enough!!Very happy I have this unit!!

Gen Tent seems to work well, but needs a metal center piece, when I install the tent everything went togeather good, then the center piece snapped. I was going to return the Gen Tent and the manufacturer contacted me and sent a new center piece, actually sent me two pieces, very good response from manufacturer. Good product except the plastic center piece.

little hard to setup but overall not bad and works perfect.

If you plan on using your generator in the rain, you need to keep it dry. This product fit my generator perfectly. The company offers assistance in ordering the model to fit your generator. It took two of us to install it. Our first use was for three days following hurricane Irma, after losing power. We didn't have it out in the weather until after the storm winds had passed, but it kept our generator dry during the days that followed while providing easy access to refuel when needed.

This product is difficult to assemble i.e. installing the ratchet strap was fairly straight forward. The difficulty is lining up the corner braces, you should get a helper, I used wooden blocks to get the corner brace height set. When you want to take the tent down, loosen the ratchet strap and the corner braces slip off. Making it difficult to set up for the next use. Over priced, accessories also over priced.

It is well designed, well built and works as promised.
