VISM by NcStar 2910 Pistol Subgun Gun Case, Black, 28" x 13"

I’ve got to give this 5 stars for now. I just got it today so I can’t speak to it’s long term durability, but as far as being true to description and it’s initial quality it’s pretty great for the price point. The biggest consistent gripe with this case is size. It’s listed as 28”. I put a tape on mine and even on the outside the widest point is about 27.25”. Inside you could MAYBE call it 27 at its widest point. Functionally I’d have to say it’s 26.5” inside. I have a ruger 300 blackout pistol, which measures 25” collapsed and 27.5 as extended. It’s a perfect fit with a little wiggle room collapsed. I can close it with the gun diagonal with it extended. It’s the perfect size for my gun. I could even make it work with most muzzle breaks or flash suppressors but it would be snug. Speaking of which, make sure you know the measurements for YOUR gun. If you have a ruger AR pistol in 5.56 it’ll have a muzzle break on it and it’s that much longer. Fabric inside and out is solid. Stitching is solid. Zippers are heavy duty. Padding is a little thinner than I’d like but my gun isn’t made of egg shells so I think it’ll be fine. Mine has a super cheap scope on a quick release mount that’s only for checking hand loaded ammo groups at 50 yards. If I had any kind of quality optic I’d want something with a little more protection. What few small flaws this has were expected from other people’s reviews, and I don’t think any of them are worth a star off. I’d probably give it 4.5 if I had the option for the size description being a little off. Overall a great buy if you account for it likely being shorter than described.

I bought this specifically for my AR Pistol, which measures exactly from the end of the buffer to the flash suppressor 24 inches. With a 30 round mag it fits with room to spare. I could even store a pistol in the case if I wanted to. The case has Velcro straps inside to hold the AR pistol in place. Which really helps if you have attachments, like sights that have been zeroed. On the outside there are 4 magazine holders, which are deep enough for 30 round mags. You wouldn't be able to put overhead hearing protection in them. But you could put boxed ammo, or small items in them. The zipper closure feels sturdy enough as does the case. The handle also has a Velcro closure. They do throw in a strap, which really has no real purpose, other than maybe being able to carry the case over the shoulder. Unlike other carry cases, you can't use this like a ruck or backpack.. But all in all it's perfect for it's intended purpose. And it's a good price. Perfect for transport to the firing range. And you really wouldn't want to be transporting this without being in a case of some type. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent little bag. Hard to find something that accommodates a folding stock, has straps to secure it, and lots of extra mag storage. This did everything I wanted and kept it simple and clean. Padding is nice and thick and zippers work well and feel sturdy.

Nice quality,perfect fit

The front pockets look strange because of their length and the length of the cover flap. I'll include a picture of them with pmags in them (20,30,40). The pockets are a bit too deep for the 20's, but the flap seam is lower than the top of a 30. The 40 has no chance and the flap will not even reach.The dimensions are misleading. The case can hold 26.5" across, 12" tall, and 28" diagonal. The padding is nice but it is still a soft case and won't protect against any type of drop.The hook and loop straps inside are nice but I would have liked them to be the other way around. When they are separated, the hooks will stick to the inside of the case and wear it out over time. If the hook sides were on the top, they would be outside of the case when opened and not wearing out the internal fabrics.The handles and straps feel like good quality and are heavy. I didn't realize until I had the case but there are heavy metal D rings for a shoulder strap which was included. All the hardware is metal including the shoulder strap clips, oversized zippers, and D rings.I would recommend this product to others and would buy more if/when I need another.
