Elkay Quartz Classic ELGU2522WH0C 24-5/8" x 18-1/2" x 9-1/2", Single Bowl Undermount Sink Kit, White

I ordered this product for our laundry room in a lighter shade of grey. It was SUPER light (pictured) and had a pretty noticiable chip and crack in the corner upon arrival. I sent it back and ordered a replacement but it said it would take 2 MONTHS to get here, which wasn't going to work for our countertop templating. Thus, I chose this darker grey and it was to be delivered within 2 days. LOVE the color and am so happy to have landed with this one. It arrived in excellent condition and looks nice undermounted with our counters. I like the texture (smooth but looks textured), color, depth for washing clothes and overall modern look. (We used a drain from our local big box hardware store instead of the colored one suggested with this brand for contrast). Would buy again!

There's nothing else like this on the market. It looks new after a year of heavy use.

I have only been using this sink less than a week. I have a roommate who cares a lot less about the sink than I do so I was nervous about buying white. I emptied some Indian lentil soup into the sink with turmeric and it washed down with no staining. I just rinsed it out well to make sure no residue was left in the sink. So far it is no more difficult to maintain than a stainless. Food bits will dry onto the sides, and they easily come off using a sponge like with my stainless. I have been trying to wash and wipe the sink each night but don't do anything during the day. Because it is so deep and flat water does not drain the same as my rounded stainless did, but this is a common problem with all flat, deep sinks. The size is perfect for me, because it is way more functional/bigger than my old 32" 50/50 drop in sink since I only used one half of that sink. This gives me more counter space with my new quartz countertops. I will update this review if I find it difficult to clean or see staining down the road.

I read a lot of the reviews and knew I wanted a black sink, not a white one. It seems like everyone is having issues with the white sinks, or are they not cleaning them properly? My black one is simply perfect. We’ve had it for five months and it still looks brand new. We have hard water, so we are diligent on drying it out often, it’s not an issue. I have no regrets on this sink and it’s my favorite part in our new kitchen, as it ties everything in together.

Quality is excellent, very deep. Nice sandstone color. Don’t buy the drain piece if you’re installing a garbage disposal. I did and it doesn’t work, though the color was a perfect match.

According to the manufacturer recommendations (not shown on the Amazon ad), you must rinse and dry the sink basin after EACH use! I installed two of these sinks and they both look like garbage after a month. The ad says it won’t stain with food but that is false. It holds on to anything in the sink. Even just water or a cup with water in the sink will stain. Incredibly disappointing.

I cannot complain about this sink, because of the amazing price. Any other farmhouse sink or single sink, you would pay hundreds of dollars more for than this one. I love the depth, the size, and my contractor didn’t mention any installation issues. There are however some things you should know before purchasing.If you are lazy and don’t like to regularly clean your sink, don’t get it. I was raised to regularly clean and disinfect the kitchen sink, as it holds all kind of bacteria. So I’m used to scrubbing my sink. However, this one takes some extra care. It’s a porous material, and while it’s not awful at staining, I certainly wouldn’t call it stain resistant.If your husband or kids dump out a dark liquid drink and don’t rinse it (which they do and will 🙄) and it sets on there for a while it will stain. It you have an iron skillet and you’re cleaning it it will leave a scuff mark. If you leave wet metal in it, it will leave a rust spot. My photos are of it after being scrubbed clean a day ago.Those are the cons, and why I didn’t give it 5 stars, however they are all easily avoidable if you’re willing. And if you do end up with a stain.... rather, when you end up with a stain, a good cleaning paste and sponge will get it right up with a little elbow grease.All in all, I would recommend this sink. I wanted the farmhouse sink look in my new home, but other sinks simply weren’t in our budget. If you want this look and don’t mind some extra care, and can’t afford a sink that costs $700-$800, get it.If you can afford a more expensive one, I would probably get that one instead.

I have been using the new sink now for 2 months and I LOVE IT. Easy to keep clean. I saw a hand full of reviews that mentioned that the sink stained easily and I was initially concerned as I have very hard water . As part of my normal routine of cleaning up after dinner each night I wipe the sink dry and have seen almost no spots. once a week I give the sink a rub down with a popular window cleaner with vinegar which takes care of any slight spots. We bought the dark charcoal gray color for decor reasons and other colors might require a different cleaning routine. For reasons that I cant find now I was under the that this item was made in USA it is not! The good news is that it was made in Germany and not China. Many of the similar Chinese sinks that I read reviews had horror stories about quality problems which has become a trade mark of Chinese products these 4 days ...In closing, great quality item that i will and have recommended to my friends, put some forethought into choosing your color

The sink itself is beautiful. The quality is fantastic and the sink material is very thick. However, BE AWARE this product DOES NOT come with a strainer. You will need to buy this separately. This is not clear on the amazon product page.
