The Good Home Beach Days LAUNDRY Fragrance Refill, 64 Ounce

(This is an excerpt from my review of the two-pack)... This stuff is amazing! What it really is is aromatherapy masquerading as a fabric softener! I save a ton of money by making my own laundry detergent (thank you Pinterest!) but I miss the wonderful scent my laundry used to have. I used to love doing laundry just because the scent made me feel so good but then without any scent it just became a chore, which is probably why my laundry was always piled high in the laundry room instead of neatly folded and hung up each week. So I searched for a laundry fragrance and since the Good Home products were all I could find I decided to give it a try. This Pure Grass scent, in my opinion, doesn't exactly smell like fresh cut grass (I think it smells better!) but it does smell incredibly fresh, clean and bright the way laundry should smell. When I get my last load finished I end up wishing I had more to wash! I've been able to stay caught up on my laundry for two weeks in a row now (a feat I would normally accomplish only a few times a year). It also made our front yard smell incredible when the dryer was going so I've decided that doing laundry just before guests arrive is not a bad idea. It's a scent that makes you think of summer breezes wafting in through the white-curtained windows of a charming English cottage with flowers planted all around and birds singing and bees humming. And the fragrance REALLY lasts on the clothes, too! In the morning when I woke up and lifted the covers off of me the scent on my pajamas hit me like they were fresh out of the dryer! Get this stuff and you'll be in heaven and you'll never put off doing your laundry ever again! I also will put about a tablespoon or two of this into a spray bottle of water and use it to freshen linens and even spray it on my carpets, curtains and furniture to freshen up the house and it's great as a spray to use when ironing. I purchased the detergent and fragrance in the Beach days scent and absolutely love it. I mainly use them for my sheets because it is just relaxing to smell the scent.

I absolutely love this linen spray. Im a California girl living in the mostly gray Pacific Northwest and every time I mist my laundry while ironing or changing bedsheets, I am transported to my favorite sunny California beach and it makes me happy. Smells like sun and sea salt and the slightest whiff of someone’s Coppertone lotion. Amazing. Can’t get enough of this.

This fragrance has a lot of uses. For laundry, I only use it on towels and linens. However, I did dilute some in a spray bottle with water to use as an air freshener, for rooms and closets. I also put some into my Sirena air cleaner to help keep things smelling nice.I will say the scent has changed from when I first tried it years ago, it smells a bit more like sunscreen and less aquatic. Still, it is a nice Summertime enhancement to the home.

On O am a laundry freak, I have 3 sons and 1 daughter. They are grown and now I have 17 grandchildren. I am currently taking care of my mother who is incontinent of bladder and bowel. So she does and pools and wears diapers and sometimes it get on her bedding and and washable pads and clothes. I have always taken pride in the outcome of my laundry. I use Tide ultra oxy but I noticed that my mom's laundry still smelled so I would have to put in twice as much detergent and wash two of these times I even added the brown bottle Lysol and a laundry booster. So I came across this The Good Home Laundry green grass. So I bought some, It came in today, I had a pile of Her laundry to do, so I gave it a try and put in one capfull! there Is no sign of pee or anything but this fresh airy !!!!! The Stuff Works Amazing!!!!! now Im Going To try the dryer sheet. The Bottles are small 64 oz. But I so t be using nearly as much and I won't be washing two or three times the same load. Why didn't I see this sooner!!!!!

Product smells wonderful - while in the bottle. I followed the instructions, shook the container and added recommended amount to fabric softener compartment. I used fragrance free detergent so the fabric softener scent wouldn’t compete with detergent. I’ve used this twice with fluffy bright white towels. Both times they came out with yellowish splotches. First time I though I did something wrong, so paid extra close attention second time and same thing happened, it doesn’t appear to mix well with water and the towel just absorbs the amount dispensed. It does come out when rewashed, so towels aren’t ruined, but certainly a waste of time and money. Additionally the towels failed to hold the scent after dried. The liquid is a thin milky white - the stains don’t appear until after they’ve been dried. I do like the scent and wish I could purchase just the beach days detergent (currently you have to buy in a bundle with softener) I have the pure grass fragrance detergent because that can be purchased alone, that does not cause the staining like the softener does. I’ll review the detergent under that product.

The reviews I read said use 2 tbls per load, not true, more is needed. That being said…. I wanted a scent that was noticeable when curled up with my blanket or wearing my favorite hoodie. Although I love the scent of this product in the bottle, I can not smell it in my washed items after washing. Downy does better, with less liquid used.

I used to use this regularly several years ago so I was excited when I found it on Amazon. I use it on all my sheets and the smell is perfect and the sheets feel so soft.
