Despite some flaws, this is just about the best mask I've come across. I purchased this mask because my husband is a night owl who doesn't get ready for bed most nights until after midnight, whereas I am typically in bed by 10 or 11 usually. Not a problem, except our master bath sink area is open to the bedroom.Two things I liked:1) The mask truly does block out 95% of any light. It's comfortable and I haven't woken up by my husband using the bathroom.2) I love the extra air space above the eyes to prevent the mask from coming into contact with the eyelids. I'm pretty sensitive to any type of fabric touching my eyelids, and this keeps me from falling asleep. This is a fantastic feature and the one that made me purchase this product.Two things I didn't like:1) The band isn't very adjustable, so if you have a smaller head this will eventually slip off. Fortunately, the mask stays on long enough for my husband to turn off the lights and go to bed so it works for its intended purpose... but every morning the mask has shifted.2) The nose bridge area fits only one type of nose bridge (long, straight and narrow). Not for short or ethnic noses. I could see this when I was deciding whether to purchase and I knew I would have to cut off small pieces of the mask around the nose bridge area to improve fit. However doing so did slightly affect the light blocking ability. It wasn't a deal breaker for me but I can see how it could be for someone else...Overall, I recommend it.UPDATE:It has been 9 months since I've purchased this and I have to downgrade my rating from 4 to 3 stars, based on my personal circumstances. While I don't expect bells and whistles for such a low price... it's a sleep mask, and the materials aren't that expensive.My first issue is the silk covering on both sides of the mask started peeling off of the foam interior within a few months. This could have been prevented by sewing the silk more securely around the foam. I guess I could have fixed it myself, but I also could have sewn together my own mask at that point.My second issue is the elastic band became so stretched that it would no longer stay on my head for long. I complained that the band was not adjustable in my initial review and gave it one star off for that. The life of the band (and the mask overall) could have been extended by making the band adjustable.Overall, I still think the mask isn't a bad product, and I do think they have the right idea for the reasons I listed initially. If you just want something to block out the light while you're on an occasional flight... this does the job and will last longer than it did for me.If you are the type of person who moves a lot in their sleep like me, or if you are going to use this mask heavily (nightly or several times a week) also like me, look elsewhere. I recently bought a mask that is more secure, has two adjustable bands and blocks out light, and so far it is a better fit. The mask did have a soft feel to it but my nose is a bit to large so light would still come in. I'm sure it would be fine and comfortable for those with smaller noses.

After several use, the edge of the mask is falling apart. Very regret for such a poor quality product.

Mask is comfortable, has adjustable Velcro strap. Does let a little light in around the nose, but not deal breaker.

The fit is aweful. Light seeps in around the edges. The Velcro straps are designed for people with a huge head apparently...and I wear a 7/3/4 hat.

very poorly made, velcro strap was not sewn together very well, could not use themask do to the poor quality.

It hurts my ears !!!!!!!!!

Not good for belly sleepers whom sleep on the side of their face. Material shifts off the eyes when face is laid flat on pillow.
