Nice frames, cheap screws
The aluminum frame is really nice. The material is pretty strong, the paint job is good, and the fit and finish are great. I was worried about ordering this in case I ended up with 10 useless frames! :)The problem is the included screws are very cheap. On one frame, you need to use 8 screws (each corner is 2 screws). I had 2 screw heads snap off on my first frame. This is a problem because (a) it shouldn't happen, (b) the screw body becomes impossible to extract out of the channel without great difficulty if at all. You will be very unhappy when this happens, so just get some better screws before you get started! This is why I deducted one star. I don't even care that I have to buy the screws, I just hated learning the hard way.To fix this, I bought #4 screws of length 1/2" or 3/4" from the hardware store (it is harder to find screws this small though) and it worked. I recommend ordering a box of #4 screws on Amazon. You will need 80 of them (8 per frame), assuming none are defective you don't accidentally drop one and lose it like I did.The frame isn't flimsy by any means, nor is it some industrial strength monster. It exceeded my expectations at this price point. It all comes in a box tightly packed, and arrived in good shape. I had other aluminum rails come damaged when ordering online, but this worked out well.I am actually using them to make acoustic panels, to encapsulate 2" thick rockwool semi-rigid insulation boards that measure 2' x 4'. Because the rockwool has some give, but also because the frame exactly matches the size of the insulation pieces, the middle of the frame bows out a tiny tiny bit. So when I meant the frames were strong, but not industrial strength, this is what I meant. But it was close enough for my purposes. I wrap the whole thing in fabric and use 3M 77 spray glue to keep the fabric in place. Then I used a pop-rivet gun to attach some "Maxi Hanger Heavy Duty Picture Hangers" B07QD792NC on the back, so I hang them on some shelving rails. I could have build wood frames (since it gets covered with fabric) but I wanted to try something different. Normally you would staple the fabric to the wood frame, but I had to use glue. They came out looking very nice, but it sure took a while to figure it all out and experiment.I also tried M2 and M2.5 screws in the hardware store, and I think those would work as well. The M2 have some play, so probably the M2.5 work better if you are into metric. The included screws seem to be #4.

Great For Acoustic Panels
I bought this 10 pack and made Acoustic panels for my home studio and It took a few hours to put them all together but it was really easy. A tip when screwing them together is STOP when the screw is flushed or close to being flushed to prevent the screw head from breaking off. Outside of that, I have 2ftx4ft 703 fiber glass in them. It's a tight fit and the fiber glass slightly pokes out in the middle but I'm happy. I'm hanging them on the wall with steel wire that goes from the part that you would normally screw into the ceiling. I recommend this as an alternative to wood frames for acoustic panels.
