Does what it advertises. Two things to advise other buyers of... 1. Make sure your laptop power bus has enough power to run the drive you drop into this enclosure. I was using an m.2, an SSD in the drive slot and a legacy HDD in the caddy. I undervolted which caused problems. I am CONFIDANT that this is NOT a flaw with the caddy as much as it’s a flaw with my math on power consumption. 2. The bezel is flimsy. I accidentally cracked and broke it in half when I installed it. I had to spend a little time trying to glue it back together. Nothing a teeny dab of model glue couldn’t deal with, but could have been avoidable with more care by the manufacturer in casting. Would still buy it again.

Installed in seconds and works perfectly. No problems here.
