Wooden Spoons

My husband was looking for new cooking utensils. The previous plastic ones were flimsy and he wanted something stronger. Decided to look at wooden ones. First he was attacted to the look of these because of the design since he likes to keep them on the counter for convenience. The features he was looking for were a slotted spoon that wasn't too thin (to not cut pasta while cooking) and a saute spatula that was strong enough to hold up to his style of cooking. Decided to give these a try. The packaging was very nice. The pouch can now be used as a wine carrier as he loves the way the utensils look on the counter. They are very strong and clean well. He especially likes the saute spatula. They are very sturdy and for you men that love to cook these will stand up to your style of cooking. Highly recommend this set for yourself or a gift!

Great spoon set! I love to cook and now have some time to become more serious about it. After spending a good sum of money on new stainless steel appliances I was interested in upgrading the utensils that reside on the counter next to the stove. I wanted a high end, quality set of utensils that would look great and be functional. These fit the bill and then some! I love the design and feel. It felt like I was using a cooking tool rather than just a spoon. I was also pleased at how easily they were cleaned even after using them on a dish that contained melted cheese. I will definitely be looking for other products by Mellio.

This is my first set of cooking utensils that are on the nicer side, and I've used them almost every day for the past two weeks. The corners on the spoons and spatula are the tools' best features because they make it easy to mix and pick up food in the pan. The spoons also have a very strong and sturdy feel without being overly cumbersome.

I love all the thought that went behind making these spoons eco friendly and free of a bunch a chemicals that I don't want around my food. On top of that they are so pretty! These are defiantly counter-top spoons not drawer spoons. And the best part is how easily the sauce and melted cheese came off after I used them to make my baked macaroni!

Brought this set for my mother. She is pleased.
