Dorman 911-410 Vapor Canister Purge Valve Compatible with Select Models

My RAM 1500 was becoming hard to start sometimes, it would crank and crank but it wouldn't start. I had an engine light and a code that said I had a small Evap leak.replaced it with this part and fixed it right up. This part however does make a loud clicking sound from time to time but it is part of the function of the part is just louder than the OEM one but nothing to be too concerned about. you can only hear it outside the cab and if you are listening for it.

Ram 1500 code P0456 (small evap leak) replaced it in 5 minutes and drove it a couple days and code cleared. The old one was bad took it off and could blow through it and the new one I couldn’t. Fit just like the OEM

I was having issues on my 2017 Ram 1500 with the purge valve. Which was causing the check engine light to come on and a long crank when I started my truck when it was hot outside. So I replaced it with this and it fixed the problem. However within a month my check engine light was on and when I would fill my fuel tank and start my truck it wouldn’t want to start and I would have to step on the accelerator while cranking to get the engine to fire up. After some research this is a common symptom of a purge valve stuck in the open position.I removed the dorman valve and blew air through it and air was able to pass through. Whereas if the valve was operational you would not be able to blow air through it.So I purchased a mopar purge vale and everything is working fine.

I threw a code and this part was indicated as a common failure when that code happened on my 2017 Pacifica. It was easy to replace, but it seems rather loud during operation (perhaps newer ones are louder than older ones? Dunno.). It did NOT fox my code. Ended up being the Esim (part of the emissions system in the left rear tire well.

Installed this part today in less than 15 minutes. It was the exact match for the part I needed in response to an evap sensor code I was getting. I recently replaced the gas cap as it was also related to this code but didn't resolve the issue. Super easy to install as it only requires you to unplug the electrical sensor, pull the tubes off on either side of the part and then install the new part and plug all tubes back up. Engine light did not come back on after cranking the Jeep after install. So far, seems to have resolved the issue.

Had a open gas cap light come on my truck so decided to change this part and gas cap. Turned out to be the last part I didn’t change which was the emission part on side of transmission.

had a jeep code of Jeep Code P0456 . bought this Evaporative System Integrity Module and a vapor canister purge valve and removed code and the code never came back. I thought at first it was the gas cap bought the engine light kept coming back on after my gas tank went just below half a tank. So i replaced these 2 parts and it fixed it. The parts came in on time and was a perfect fit. I would recommend this product for 2015 jeep cherokee v6.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my 2015 Ram 1500 5.7L hemi engin.My original purge valve was OK but I had evape leaking from fuel tank Evaporative Emissions System Leak Detection Pump. So I just bought this too for change to new part. But after installed I start hearing ticking noise from this new purge valve. I am not happy with this. Maybe fault quality or damaged. Can I get a new part?
