Doenst work
Doesn't work. Built it up as instructions state. Put it in water at the max/min line. No suction just a lot of noise. Took the pipes off to see if anything happens. Just the fan spinning with what feels like suction but as soon as the pipes are attached nothing happens. I only have sand like gravel so very light, even the manual syphon sucks it up with ease. The build quality is like it was built with the cheapest materials and put together like a 4 year olds first build set. Very disappointing. Will be asking for a refund

Great for the price
Great little tool, not brilliant. But given the price excellent

Bags are a problem.
Arrived a day before expected date. Instructions are a bit garbled but it is simple to assemble. The weak point is the bags supplied with it, they fill very quickly and need an additional rubber band to keep them on, they are quite flimsy as well. The product works reasonably well with the plug in power cord , the suction is a little underpowered but does the job.

Not good for a small tank.
I have 2 tanks, a 65l and an 18l. The 'hoover' works well for the deeper larger tank but not for the smaller one.

Poor quality and short life
The power cable doesn't fit properly so wobbles and feels unsturdy. It feels like its going to fall out into the water unless I'm awkwardly trying to hold it in while syphoning with the other hand. It has never worked when I've tried to use the battery option. It's not suitable for a planted aquarium as small bits of plants easily get caught around the propeller. Over time, suction has significantly reduced. The water max/min line is very unclear, as they look to be in the same place. After less than a year, it completely cut out and gave up the ghost. It's very difficult to use with sand - when hovering carefully above the substrate it either picks up nothing at all or ends up sucking half your sand up with the debris.

Rubbish
Very disappointed with this. It sort of worked once and then died completely.Save yourself the hassle.
