IBDBuilding Gel, Hard Gel Nail Extension, Sheer Pink, 0.5 oz

I waited for a week after I did a full set on my own nails to see how this builder gel in the bottle holds up. As you can see all my nails still look good with no lift, crack, peel nothing! And I’m a nail tech who has to get into water, chemicals, e-file all day. I used to wear poly gel cuz it lasts forever and acetone can’t even do anything to it but the problem is it takes time to do it myself so I’ve been trying to fine the alternative product that holds up just like poly gel but easier to apply and I found this!!! If you want the most durable nails enhancement with super easy application look no further this is it!! But for inexperienced users may find it complicated when it comes to removal cuz this is not a soak off gel. The bottle looks like gel polish but it’s not. You have to drill it off ONLY so if you’re buying this make sure you know what you’re doing. Don’t be alarmed with the viscosity it’s supposed to be thick cuz it’s meant to give your nails structure. “Not Gel Polish” If you tried IBD builder gel in the jar before this is your new best friend. It’s the same thing but in different container and I find it easier to use cuz it comes with applicator brush. The only cons I have here is it’s pricier compares to the jar version. Lastly, this color is soooooo pretty and perfect for french. I can wear this color all year long!

I absolutely love this builder gel. I have 4 children and I like to do my nails at home to save money. Let me tell you how easy this stuff is to work with. Hands down best builder gel for home use I’ve ever used. I purchased the binder, the cover pink color and the clear. In the photo I did two thin coats of the cover pink, then topped it with my toddler’s glitter polish and a top coat because we did our nails together and she wanted me to match her. Otherwise the cover pink is perfect for a natural nail look. I have very brittle thin nails that always break so it’s hard for me to grow my nails. Excited to continue to use this and see my nail growth.So far, it it lasting very well. I’m always doing dishes laundry and cleaning various things in my home all day including the car, patio, garage, groceries and shuttling everyone from school to sports, and activities and events. This took no time at all to have a salon quality results. And to me that’s the best part.Oh and the self leveling part also is wonderful! I don’t have a nail drill so I file by hand with a regular old nail file. And this stuff eliminates needing any serious filing. Seriously love it.

I ordered soft white bc I was hoping for something more forgiving since I’m new at this. It looks bright white to me but I still love it. Hoping clear will be back in stock, I’d gotten soft pink last time but it needs something on top or at least a French tip.I started using this bc my nails were splitting and nail wraps don’t hold on me. Even with nail glue I’d still be piling on another patch. So someone recommended builder gel and now no splits and I just had to file all of them back. I used this on top of my silk wrap repairs and it all eventually grew out. I filed ofc but to be gentle there was still some of the wrap remaining.You do have to cure these and after you cure be sure to wipe with alcohol to get the sticky off. I tend to dive in without reading instructions so I kept curing trying to get rid of the sticky. As a beginner I’d suggest getting the lightest shade you can so you can get comfy with it. Get some pointy cotton swabs and an orange stick. Wiping excess away while it’s wet is much easier than trying to file it off after it’s cured.Also consider doing a few nails at a time. After I got this, my 2nd bottle, I got cocky and did all five. And then before I could cure my thumb got gloppy and started to run. So I ended up removing it and starting over. I needed three coats, I’m probably doing it wrong but be sure to cure for 10(?) seconds bc it’ll just get gloppy and start to run. Don’t cure unless you’re sure you like it tho.I know I’m doing this wrong lol. Be sure to read the enclosed directions before listening to me. Good luck!!

Love this building gel in cover pink! I specifically use this building gel for my gel x nails or on natural nails for when I want to grow it out. I have my cosmo license for 8 years and have always use IBD building gel in a pot. So when building gel came out in a bottle… made my life easier!! It’s easy to use and dry with an led/uv lamp for 30-40 seconds. Once dry it feels hard and you can easily file around the cuticle for a flawless look ( I use my e- file) and a regular file to shape the nail. When I’m not doing clients nail I’ve always done my own acrylic. And it’s not easy. So I starting using gel x with IBD building gel. The IBD hard gel is easy to manipulate with a brush and it self level!! 👍🏻👍🏻 if you know what you are doing this will last you 2-3 weeks. To take it off file it down as much as you can and soak the rest with acetone. I also love the color of the cover pink. Gives me a very clean look!I also bought the IBD top coat. Let’s just say I’m not the biggest fan of it. It’s okayyyyy. You have to use alcohol to take out the tackiness. Which I don’t mind bc I can just use it to put powder pigments on my nails. But as a top coat… idk. It doesn’t give you much of a shine/gloss. Maybe it’s a preference. I like shiny nails lol. This is my favorite. Been using it for over a year now and just purchased my second bottle!I’ve been doing my own gel for years cause I refuse to pay outrageous prices.This keeps my nails strong, allows them to grow and can be used as a base or by itself.Make sure you clean your edges of your nail and cuticle since it is self leveling and will travel into the nail edges.I’ve had my sets last 6/7 weeks with this. Albeit the grow out was gross but I was lazy :)

It is somewhat easy to apply and appears to be durable. After a week of usage have not had any issues.3 stars however are due to its color. I ordered soft white, but it does not look too soft at all, it is very intense white color.I also did not like the brush that comes with it.

I don't know what wizardry this is, but it is so easy to use from the bottle here, more so than the pot version. This stuff is the best if you know how to use it. Proper prep is key, and nice strong nails with no lifting. Easy to rebalance. Beautiful subtle sheer pink hue.

Game changers for doing your own nails. I used this on top of coloured press on nails and it provides extra structure and shine, I was asked where I got my nails professionally done, because my province is still in a stay at home order; people were shocked when I told them I did it myself. I’ve used poly gel in the past and I don’t have a knack for it, builder in a bottle is easy to use and offers great results.

Love this product it’s all I use on my natural nails. I ditched acrylic and now only use this helps my natural nails grow super long. Been using it for almost 2yrs. The second photo is how long my nails got wearing this but I have now shortened them.
