This handy little infra red thermometer is what I needed to be able to monitor the temperature on my Hobby Grade 60 mph RC cars high power electric motor. If the motor gets too hot it’ll destroy itself. The thermometer works flawlessly from up to 10” away and gives me good consistent readings. I have other thermometers that can read the temperature that are similar to the second winner that came with this product. So I know the temp gun is accurate. The second winner, or thermometer that comes with this handy little tool is what most would call a meat thermometer. Except that it’s about a foot long. It comes in a handy plastic tube so the sharp point will never Jab you as you reach for it from your kitchen utensil drawer. It’s extra length compared to most meat thermometers helps more than you’d expect too. . Sometimes the grill or pan is just so hot that reaching in to get a temp will burn my hand making it almost impossible to get a good reading. This thing allows me more time to get a good reading because my hand doesn’t need to get so close. Both products feel quality made and I’m glad I chose this perticular brand. There were many to choose from. Good quality products. Both of them.

It’s affordable and works

The media could not be loaded.  Our apartment had heat issues. And we have been looking for a good infrared thermometer to read temperatures in the whole apartment. Long story short, we need one thermometer which is accurate, reliable, easy to use and can be used remotely. This smart sensor infrared thermometer came to our eyes. It came with a digital meat thermometer too, and the price was very reasonable.The thermometer also came with batteries, which we were really happy with. You don’t need to specifically get a box of batteries you might not need in the future anymore!The infrared thermometer is very handy. The little LED screen for readings can be lighted up, just press the light button on the right. To take temperatures, simply turn it on and press the trigger on the top of the handle. A red circle will appear—which is the laser—aim it anywhere to get temperatures!We tried it around our apartment, the oven, radiator, fridge and ceiling. The readings make sense. I believe it’s very accurate.Just a reminder that since this is an infrared thermometer, don’t use it to take body temperature, especially don’t aim it at someone’s eyes!!! About the meat thermometer, I love it so far. If you are really tired of the traditional meat thermometer that takes forever to have a reading, which is not even accurate. This digital meat thermometer is definitely for you. It reads the temperature really fast. And it’s so light weighted.We planned to buy another set for my father-in-law since he was very into cooking and gardening. I’m sure he will happy to receive such a nice and high-quality product for Christmas!

Price point is great Delivery time good

I picked this up to help understand the heat zones on my Blackstone griddle. Works nice enough for my needs.Feedback for the gun --PROS: - Easy to use. Works well to push the controls. - Seemingly accurate to necessary need. I want to know how hot my griddle is in certain spots. This works well for that. If you need absolute accuracy, this may not be the case.CONS: - A little hard to read what the buttons say so need to get used to which one is whereFeedback for the meat probe --PROS: - easy to read - seems accurate compared to 2 other thermometers I have (all were +/- 2*F) - nice length so can get into the middle of a big piece of meat, or stay away from touching the grillCONS: - I am little concerned about the durability of this as it does not seem as strong as other meat thermometers I ownOverall, happy with this set for the price paid!
