Purchased this for Easter because yes, it will work with regular eggs too. But, with this set, you also get the two dinosaur eggs with slime and a dinosaur inside.The egg decorating itself was fun. My children loved it. The eggs turned out beautiful and the markers worked well on the plastic eggs included with this set as well as hard boiled eggs for Easter. My only complaint is the markers take quite a while to dry, so expect to get your hands stained when removing the eggs from the Egg Mazing machine.The dinosaur eggs themselves are very neat. Each has a bag inside that is filled with slime, and you dig through the slime to find the pieces to the dinosaur. Finally, you can put the pieces together to build your dinosaur. My kids are already begging for more dinosaur eggs because they had so much fun, and they want to collect them all.I would highly recommend this. It worked well, and my children really enjoyed it!

My children are 3 and 5. They got this for an Easter/birthday present. We also bought the extra eggs. I love how easy it is to use and how the dinosaurs snap together without much effort. The dinosaurs are soft and the kids liked to change out the parts and make silly dinos. It was fun "hatching" the eggs and getting the dinosaur out of the slime and putting it together. This toy has so many different elements to it which I think is why my kids have stayed so well entertained with it. It has a fun surprise in the egg, a puzzle of trying to figure out how to put together the dinosaurs, variety of colors and textures, ease of use so my kids can decorate for hrs (hard boiled eggs work really well in it too), toys/puzzle, slime and an art project all wrapped into one. I'd definitely suggest getting this for any children who love dinosaurs, slime, putting things together and coloring.

The kids loved this! The eggs with dinosaurs in them were fun and they loved decorating their eggs with this. The boys are 5 and 9 and they both loved it!

My kids loved this but I wish the egg spinning part was smaller as it was a little too big for some of the eggs.

My 18 month old grandson loves it and so too did his parents, by for the easiest way to decorate Easter eggs with less mess

I got the DinoMazing Dino and Easter Egg Decorator for my 4-year-old grandson. It worked so well, was easy to figure out, and, most of all, he loved it! He could do the decorating himself with the included markers and he absolutely loved cracking open the eggs. Each egg (which can be put back together after opening), was was filled with slime mixed with dinosaur parts. His favorite part was putting together the dinosaurs.

This is probably the cutest little set I could have ever gotten for my toddler!! Eggs are cute for start and it’s awesome they can color on them! But really the best part is that the dinosaurs on the inside come in pieces and inside of a gak-like substance. He LOVED pulling all the body parts out of the goo and constructing the dinosaurs!! Fun for years I’m sure as he will mix and match them all. Currently his stegosaurus has pterodactyl wings and the pterodactyl has stegosaurus arms. Obsessed and will for sure recommend
