How to Avoid H. E. N. R. Y. Syndrome (High Earner Not Rich Yet): Financial Strategies to Own Your Future
E**J
Worst personal finance book I’ve ever bought
The entire book is a pamphlet for his families financial planning business. No depth of insight on behavioral finance or actually how to overcome the High Earner Not Rich Yet syndrome that is the title of the book. This book has nothing in it worth paying for IMHO. You can acquire every concept in this book in any personal finance blog.Odd that there’s a chapter on “Hiring and Advisor“ but no mention of fees!Save your money and your time… this book has all the depth of a wet paper towel.Buy A Simple Path to Wealth, The Millionaire Next Door, or any of the Bogleheads books. If you actually want to learn something via being sold something.

Now More Than EVER
So as our world changes around us, I found that this is a great time to read How To Avoid H.E.N.R.Y. Syndrome. I worry about finances 24/7 and now with everything going on in the world decided to find new ways to start Saving. With Gideons book it eased my fears and made me think of the future ahead. He breaks it down to understand what to do and how to do it. You don't have to make a lot to save a lot. Thanks to this book I can now put some of my fears at rest and start thinking differently and saving. Thank you Gideon.

I wish I’d read this five years ago
This is not a guide on how to “get rich quick”, but rather a pragmatic approach on how to achieve true financial independence and leave a lasting legacy, presented through concrete (and entertaining) examples to which all young professionals can relate. Gideon’s personal story is nothing short of inspiring, and it lends his words the weight of someone far beyond his years.

A Great Read!
I legitimately read this entire book in two days. With what's going on in todays climate, I found it incredibly helpful as a late 20 something trying to start building my financial knowledge. I wish they would make this a mandatory book for every single high school student. It would be so beneficial for them. It was a super easy book to get through, and I actually feel like I have a much better understanding of investing after two days of reading it. An awesome book for anyone (especially 20/30/40 somethings) looking to further their knowledge of investing for their future.

Mr. Drucker guides you step by step on how to lay a strong financial foundation for yourself. The book is an easy read and there are a ton of great takeaways that you can put into affect immediately. Planning to buy copies for all my cousins and siblings as they continue to build their wealth. Highly recommend!!!

Every young professional should read this!
We have always heard about how important it is to save, but very few of us have actually done much thinking around this by our late 20s and early 30s. Gideon Drucker simply and clearly lays out easy to understand concepts that have a major impact on one's financial future. Very easy read and makes me feel much more equipped to handle saving and investing properly!
