Glad I did my homework first
In the process of setting up a dedicated workout space, I decided that after 15 years my dumbbells needed some kind of permanent storage. I read through reviews on many other dumbbell racks, which sounded like they wouldn't work well with my smaller dumbbells(8 lbs and under) because of bars being too far apart for a shelf with bars across, cheaply made, or the space for the weights to go in wasn't the right sizing I needed. I got this instead of all the other options I looked into, even though it costs a little more, knowing that it should work for my needs based off Q&A section of listing and the stock photo of if you buy the weights with the 5 pair dumbbell holder together. I like how little space it takes up and how sturdy everything appears to be once it was assembled. The instructions are a little lacking, but I figured it out pretty quickly--2 washers, 1 nut bolt, and 1 screw per screw hole, and use an adjustable wrench to hold the bolt while tightening each screw with the included tool. Can't give it a 5 yet because I just received it, assembled and set it up for my space today. Holds my 8's, 5's, 3's, 2's(all neoprene), and even my kids' 1's made out of foam without any problems moving weights on and off the rack. I was worried the 2's wouldn't fit before I put them in, but they did.

Slowly tear off the pads. They stink, and you won't need them.
Assembly was easy--you just have to pay a little attention that you don't try to put one of the legs on backwards, but it's easy enough to fix if you do. Several reviewers have commented on the smell. Oh, dear God, the smell. It did not dissipate after three weeks and then I gave up. Just rip off the pads and dispose of them far, far away. I would say to destroy them with fire, but that seems unwise. I have had no problem in six months with any damage to my metal 10-15 lb dumbbells or my vinyl-coated 3-8 lb dumbbells. The pads are unnecessary, and discarding them frees you from the odor. Then you can enjoy your stable, inexpensive dumbbell stand in sweet, sweet peace.

It is easy to remove/replace the dumbbells
I just purchased this dumbbell rack for an assortment of dumbbells my wife and I have accumulated over the years that were just piled on a file cabinet in our basement near where we exercise. This is exactly what I was looking for. It is very solid. It is easy to remove/replace the dumbbells. The assembly was simple (no missing hardware, just needed an extra wrench to hold the nut as I tightened each bolt with the Allen wrench provided). It was shipped from Walmart which was a surprise (first time I've seen Walmart on a box ordered from Amazon for me). As you can see from the attached photo, I've put 6 pairs on the rack including the 3lb set on the top. It's more expensive than some of the others available, but for me it was worth the extra money to get something of higher quality.

Smells horrible!
This twiggy holder had the most horrible smell like moth balls or gasoline! It smelled up my entire house!horrible! I washed with crud cutter about 10x, put essential oils on it , used another orange cleaner about another 6x... it STILL smells in my house. Good holder, but would NEVER recommend to anyone. It’s about 3-4 months old and it still smells terrible

A decent and sturdy rack for the money.
It was easy enough to assemble, and all the parts were there, just be sure to use 2 washers and 1 nut with every bolt. It is solid and stable, and a test with 2 dumbbells in the top slots did not make it prone to tipping. The rubber inserts that the dumbbells rest on may have to be glued; time will tell on that one. The spacing is ok, I have a big hand but it the rack allows me to use my 3 strongest fingers to place or remove a dumbell, so the rack will accommodate a wide variety of sizes. Here in the time of corona virus I use the rack in my living room where I work out while watching TV, and it sits unobtrusively under a table. Pleased so far, but it was not cheap either, but it gets my dumbbells off the floor, and it does not smell.

Good space-saving rack
Good space-saving rack, but having a rack this size/shape/configuration requires some compromises. For example, having 30lb barbells on the top bars makes the rack a bit too top heavy, and thus possibly prone to toppling over, even with lighter weights on the bottom. But it makes sense to put the heaviest barbells on the top, so you don't have to bend down and up to pick them up. Not a huge biggie, but something to keep in mind. The rack was also missing a hex nut....kind of a pain since we had to then scrounge around for another bolt and nut...assembly also took quite a bit of time....at least 45 minutes. There are rubber pieces that are affixed to the bars to protect the dumbbells, but they're not a super tight fit, so can come off fairly easily. A little glue or adhesive will solve the problem, but it would have been nice to have this included in the package.I'd give this 3.5 starts if I could, but for the price ($64.99 on Amazon) I'd expect a bit more from this product.

Very poor quality!
I bought this item and it was dinged up from the get go! The powder coating that was applied here is really poor and the chipping is everywhere! Basically if you ever hit this with your weights the coating will come off. If you ever get any of it remotely wet it will begin to rust! Now when it comes to assembly the instructions are bleak! Unless you are very good at reading one image and figuring it out - you may have a tough time. This thing will also potentially scratch your floors - no pegs of any kind underneath. For $80 I expected more!

) but was super easy to put together once I figured that out
You definitely need an additional tool to assemble (wrench!) but was super easy to put together once I figured that out. Very sturdy, holds my sets of Dumbbells easily.
