I bought this cabinet based on the reviews. I've spent a ton of money on new furniture in my new studio, so I needed something inexpensive for my office - but something that wouldn't just fall apart on me. I realize when you pay this low of a price, it won't be perfect. But the reviews make this piece out to be something it definitely isn't. The "wood" veneer is paper thin and scrapes off with the slightest friction. If you choose to buy this for budget reasons, be sure to assemble it on a super soft blanket so nothing touches it. Then cover the top with a piece of glass or a fabric runner to protect the surface.Assembly is awful. My husband is pretty handy at this sort of thing and he's had to assemble SEVERAL pieces in the last month for my new studio. But he HATES this particular piece. The doors don't assemble correctly. When the door is screwed in and all looks well, as soon as you open it, it comes back out again and the door is no longer flush. It's such a terrible design. If he hadn't spent so much time assembling it, we would send it back. He said he will probably just replace the hinges to fix the issue. If the quality of the piece was worth the assembly issue, then that would be fine. But it isn't. Even for a cheap piece, this is junk. I have purchased cheap $50 pieces that were better quality than this. I'll eventually just replace this in a couple months and let my girls use it in their college apartment. IF we can even get it there in one piece. *sigh*

Absolutely stunning. Took an hour give or take to assemble. I used a power drill to speed up the process. We really easy to put together. Sturdy and such beautiful colors. The price was totally worth it. <3

Very nice for the value. The assembly was pretty easy with two people. However, no matter how hard we tried could not get the doors to hang even. Otherwise my review would’ve been five stars.

It’s absolutely beautiful! A bit of a longer assembly but well worth it. Quality matches price. Very satisfied. We added some wine racks and glass racks inside and made it a bar!

Poor quality. Finish is contact paper

Mine arrive but the box says cherry color and the wood is more of a cherry wood. Is this how others arrived as well?
