My nine year old son was very disappointed with this item. The box says the remote control can read it from one hundred feet away and he could get about ten feet away. The video on the control screen kept pausing and making him wait and he had to be very still or it was blurry. Has been returned.

Better than most of the other ones available. Detachable lcd screen. Records and plays back the captured media. Camera can move up and down remotely. This thing can actually go over some stuff. Do not buy Brookstone, you will be disappointed. I've gotten those stuck on my carpet, will not go over a garden hose unless you get lucky.

Without a doubt, a complete waste of money. When my child unpackaged the toy, installed the batteries, charged the device, the vehicle's wheels only worked on one side. I contacted the manufacturer many times, and after several weeks they responded. Here's what they finally wrote: "Thanks for getting back to me. In this case, I think the easiest option would be to take the device back to Toys R' Us (is this where you purchased it from?) for an exchange. I'm sorry I cannot help you further on this occasion." Toys R' Us will not accept the return after being unpackaged for so long (since Christmas) as we waited for a response from EyeSpy Toys. Shame on them from foisting another piece of garbage on the American public.
