Great basket, just the lame that comes with it was completely useless. My kitchen knife was sharper...and I haven't even sharpened that blade in about 4 months. I'm certain you could never shave with the thing...(I think most lames have razor blades as the blade). If you just want this basket fine, but don't buy it because it comes with a working lame

My mom is a baker and loves making bread. When I saw this I immediately thought of her. She was very happy with this ND he already used it several times. She told me it is easy to use and works great. I think the basket would also look good as a catch-all basket as well.

I bought this in December and have used it at least 6 times. EVERYTIME I proof bread it sticks to the liner... no matter how much flour on both sides of the liner.I'm going to buy a replacement liner and see if that helps.

This is a perfectly good proofing basket, and definitely a good buy for a starter banneton. It had a few splinters, but in general it was easy to dust and easy enough to clean.

Order 2, one looks great, the other has orange and black stains and a strange odor. The linen cover was also stained. Would not buy again
