Rabbit Feeder Bunny Guinea Pig Hay Feeder, Hay Guinea Pig Hay Feeder, Chinchilla Plastic Food Bowl (Pink)

I am conservative with my hay for the guinea pigs. I don't like to put too much hay in at a time because they just pee on it and waste it. I work at home so it is not a problem for me to refill this a few times a day. Keeps the piggies hay clean. I do wish that it opened from the top. That would be my only complaint.

I would 1000% recommend this item, it really helped contain the mess. I believe in the end it saved us some money because she was not scattering her hay all over the place.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this thing. Before I would just throw the hey in the cage and I would throw out so much since I had to clean the cage when it was dirty. Now it’s away from pee and poo and it saves me so much money. It also helps them dig and eat all their hey instead of just going straight to their favorite parts and tossing out the rest. It keeps the cage cleaner and it also keeps a lot less of it out of their fleece mats which before it would be harder to clean the mats but not anymore. It’s also very sturdy.

Two of our guinea pig ladies have a habit of pulling -all- their hay out of their cage wall-mounted manger type feeder. They don't necessarily eat it all; they just enjoy pulling it all out. And of course, once it's on the cage floor, it's dirty and inedible! ::eye roll::This feeder holds a big handful of hay a little more firmly, so they only pull out what they want to eat. Doesn't hold quite as much as the hopper-style feeder, but since they're not pulling it all out, no big deal!Not sure how long the spring will last but it seems sturdy and mounts to the cage wall firmly. Partially plastic so it's not chew-proof, but so far they've left it alone. Very happy with it!

I loved this idea and maybe for other bunnies it may work perfectly but with Trix my rabbit, he still manages to waste hay and make messes with it. I will say that much less hay is wasted and it does keep things neater than just throwing hay on the floor for him. It sturdy and has given me no problems at all with use. I recommend this hay feeder!

Holds the hay very well. My bunny's tend to try to dump their hay in the floor, this keeps them from wasting a lot of hay!

Because of the metal bracket that closes down on the hay it doesn't make a big mess and it's easy to take off to refill and replace it. Now my guineas love to make a mess but this is alot better then my previous hay holder :)

This works great for holding hay for our Guinea pigs. It keeps it off the ground and gives them more space in their cage for playing. It also allows for them to forage for that perfect hay strand through the metal closure. 😍

Very good feeder, keeps hay in place and clean so last longer for my guinea pigs.
