This costume is really well made for the price! I definitely recommend going up a size. I usually wear a medium, but followed some reviews with this and I ordered a large and it's a perfect fit. The length is right at the hip (meets where my jeans sit comfortably). The shirt just has one button closure, no zippers or anything. The inside is lined, the hat is adjustable and the stitching is really nice. The gloves are a little wonky, but wearable. I almost ordered from a different seller (who was also more expensive) but I'm so glad I found this one at the last minute. Came fast with Prime shipping too! Totally recommend.

My son was ecstatic when his costume arrived. We were disappointed with the gloves but I *think* they may be salvageable.. They had strings hanging off and a hole in them, not to mention there is no uniformity for the fingers. One of the pinkie fingers was so tight he couldn't get his pinkie all the way into the glove. Some fingers are much longer than others or tighter. As I said, he was a little disappointed but overall he loves the costume and says he's never going to take it off! I made him get ready for bed and the next morning I found him back in his vest, hat and gloves again.. fast asleep. Apparently this is going to be a new thing for us. lol Ultimately I am glad that we got this as the vest and hat are in superb condition and appear as if they will last a long time. They are definitely better than other Ash costumes we've looked at. If we can't fix the gloves we can just buy new ones, but for now they work even if they make up for everything else being such good quality.

Quality costume. My son was very pleased. Ordered an extra small and it fits perfectly. ( He normally wears a boys size 12..)

Female that wears an xl in men's shirts (it generally fits tight in the hips and loose in the chest).The shirt was so tight it barely fit. It was so tight in the shoulders that I would not have been able to close it if I wanted to, with it open I could not move very well and was worried about ripping it (big guy in a little shirt lol) . I took it off while driving because I could not move comfortably. The length was fine, I have a big butt and it didn't fit awkward. The sleeves were ok and I have big arms. The hat was big. i adjusted it to fit and it kept loosening and I had to readjust it every 5 minutes and it came down so far on my forehead that I kept having to push it up to be able to see and it kept sliding up so there was a gap between my head and the hat. Super annoying.The gloves are weird and not well made, but they fit my big hands and are the right colors.The colors are good, quality is not great. i would suggest ordering up a size or try to find a better made costume.

This is NOT a costume for a younger child. It says "kids" in the description so I took a chance with an extra small for my 6 year old who is a very average size 6 year old. The gloves are too big for me at 33 years old. The vest might be okay but he'd still kind of be drowning in it. The hat is huge on me and is not very good quality. The bill is basically flat and makes it look larger and more awkward than it already is. For an adult this costume might be okay but it is definitely not a child's costume as advertised.

The shirt/jacket piece seemed reasonably well-made. No loose threads, good seams, decent-enough materials. The hat was crushed during shipping, but was also packaged flat in the first place, and the wrinkling and dents in the bill were not removable by us, detracting from the overall look--though maybe with some steaming or some other process it might have been possible to fix. The gloves were riddled with loose strings and were sewn together at the fingers very, VERY poorly. We had to thread-rip some stitches and repair along some of the fingers to make the gloves usable at all--easily the worst component of this set.As for sizing, I would say order at least one size larger, but probably better off two sizes larger. The sizing chart on the product page was helpful but a little confusing. While not 100% accurate, just go a size or maybe two larger than what seems right on the charge, and you'll be fine.

Concerning the Hat: It was smooshed in the middle of the folded up jacket resulting in wrinkles in the hat I couldn't undo. It has a small crown. I didn't feel it was going to stay on if there was a strong wind.Concerning the Jacket: It seemed to barely fit though size was chosen based on measurements given. Though the shoulders were right, the jacket is short and only made it to my hip. It felt made of higher quality as it was not just layer of fabric. It did have an inner liner.Concerning the gloves: They were also poor quality as others have stated. the fingers seemed not measured well, some tighter than others and varying lengths inconsistent with average hand even as fingerless, didn't conform to hand shape resulting in one glove being really baggy while the other conformed more accurately.

I gotta give it a 5 because it’s pretty good quality for what I paid for and definitely looks perfect. I was just hoping it would fit my 4 year old, he’s pretty big for his age so I took a chance. It’s definitely big on him but still looks good nonetheless and obviously he loves it.
