Beautiful ring! I love that this ring holds more ashes than any of the necklaces I've seen. Since losing my son, I had several friends buy me necklaces that hold a pinch of ashes, but I bought the ring for myself because I like rings better and because I can actually see through the glass and see that my son's ashes are there.

It is a beautiful ring, and it does have a patina, but it's not as dark as the photo. I haven't put ashes in yet, as I'm still waiting for them, but I did put some of my precious doggy's black hairs in it for now. You can definitely see them, and it makes the glass look like tourmalinated quartz (which I think is pretty cool). I like the heft and fit, and find the overall size of the ring to be perfect. My only complaint is the packaging. It did not come in a nice black box as advertised, but a brown paper one. This was placed in a baggie, inside of a padded envelope. During shipping the ring had been knocked loose from the inner foam, and was flopping around inside freely. The packaging definitely needs improvement when transporting something so precious.

The image depicts it being much darker than it actually is. There is a small screw on the back side of the ring which will will reveal a tiny round hole where you insert the ashes or in my case I purchased it for dog fur - which is surprisingly easy to put in with the supplied card - also supplied is a miniature driver to remove screw. It is not a dainty ring nor is it as “big” as pictured. To me it’s perfect. Although it is most likely best used as it was intended - for ashes, as the light dog fur will not show :( But lovely regardless.

I bought this after I lost my husband in May 2020. It arrived quickly and was beautiful, I absolutely loved that I could see the ashes through the glass top, I wore it daily until March 2021, it fell off my bathroom counter and the glass top came apart from the ring, I spend my birthday sweeping my husbands ashes out from between the toilet and counter. I was completely heartbroken.

Losing a loved one is beyond difficult. I found this ring after losing my dad and was able to have it in time for the funeral with 2 day shipping. The funeral home was kind enough to fill the ring for me. I always take the ring off when washing my hands/don't leave it in the bathroom with steam - no problems whatsoever. I'm happy to have found this in such a timely manner and to remember my dad by.Despite what other reviews say, YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN SEE THE ASHES IF ONLY PARTIALLY FILLED (even 1/2 or 1/3 filled). I imagine those who say otherwise simply overcompensated.

I understand that you won’t get exactly what is pictured for your product but what I received wasn’t even close.The 1st pic is what I thought I was getting, pics 2-4 is what I received .Heating the material for it to change colors..is this how you “antique” something? I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve never seen sterling silver look like this...even “antiqued”Had to give 1 star because it wouldn’t let me submit otherwise...I wouldn’t have given it squat.

This was purchased as a gift for a friend to memorialize her mother who recently passed. Her stepfather passed when she was a teen and received a necklace. She mentioned getting a ring for her mother. When I found this I knew it was perfect. Only flaw I found with this product is with the advertising. The picture shows a silver ring with black in the background. No black but was still perfect.

Love this ring my father passed away april 15th and i had this ring in the mailbox april 20th. Filling it is alittle hard and might take 2 people but is WELL WORTH IT. Made me feel alot better knowing i will always have my dad with me.

Absolutely perfect. Came with tools to help put ashes in. Even more beautiful in person.
