270 Pieces 410 Stainless Steel Self Drilling Screws Set (#8 Pan Head)

I live in an old building in NYC and wanted to install some blinds in my bedroom. When I went to hang them, I quickly realized that the entire window frame was metal (covered in years of paint of course) and I couldn't get through with any drill bit or screw...I was even about to try liquid nails...Luckily, I did a little digging and heard that self-drilling screws might do the trick and within MINUTES the blinds were hung without issue. I'M OBSESSED!!

Not bad, but you do have to be careful not to strip the heads out since the metal seems to be cheap, soft, and easy to strip.

Screws work good but the case is worthless thin plastic that won't let the lid seal down so if you organize the screws they won't stay that way. Don't waste your time organizing them

These are perfect for and projects that you need to use self-drilling screws. I used them for a 3’ piano hinge Holding a 3/4” plywood top...heavy. I had 2 screws that weren’t molded correctly in the factory but out of the entire pack, that’s not bad.

Self drill very nicely through 1/16th sheet metal. Very pleased with these. Plastic case latches are junk so be prepared to transfer them to something you can rely on or as I did, secure with a velcro strap.

The self-drilling screws work well, even into aluminum screen-room rails.

screws worked well driving into steel sheets. during shipping the screws of different sizes became all mixed up because the plastic seperating pieces came out though
