I somehow managed to break the clip off my original GoPro casing and was glad to find this one.Been using it for a short time now, and so far it's perfect, and it even came with a lense cover!

I didn’t like having to take my GoPro camera out of the case that came with it to charge it. I purchased this since it was stated that you could charge your camera in this case and it works. Since the batteries only last about an hour it’s nice to be able to charge the camera in my car as needed.

The product comes with a frame, thumbscrew, foot (mounting buckle), and a lens cap.The frame does exactly what you want it to do. It allows the battery to be charged without removing the camera from the case. This is super-convenient for daily use because as every GoPro owner knows, it's annoying to push the Hero in & out of the frame. This frame also allows the little door to be removed, for longer bike rides when using an external power bank. The speaker is better exposed now, allowing the beeps to be heard more clearly. The camera doesn't move whatsoever while inside the frame, due to a nice gasket. Thanks to the Wealpe product, I rarely need to push the camera out of the frame or even use the thumbscrew. GoPro should have done this with their own frame. The lens cap is a nice touch.One note... the frame obscures much of the blinking red light on the back which tells you a recording is underway. For me, the light is important for verifying recording while biking with the camera on the front rack. The minor problem can be solved by cutting or filing a little notch in the frame.EDIT: Eleven months after purchase, there was a reason to contact customer support, and they were super responsive and generous!
