Don’t try to make a mold with this!
I’ve been making molds for a couple of years now and I decided to try this product as a cheaper alternative to smooth-on products. Let me just say I am very disappointed in this product as it did not function like the description stated in regards to making a mold. First off it cures to the consistency of a hockey puck! Far too sturdy to cast sculptures in. My original was destroyed trying to remove it from the mold that adhered to it like it was crazy glued in even though I used a release agent prior to pouring the mold. Even if I had been able to remove the original easier the mold would have been useless because it is loaded with bubbles so that the surfaces that should be smooth feel like an orange peel. I will never buy this again.

Not for 3D printed molds.
The media could not be loaded. Very confusing product. Thought I could make silicone molds for my 3D printed items. But instead it's so hard I can't remove my 3D print. No details, clings to the print. May have other uses but definitely not for making a mold.

Great product
Used this to create a bushing on my truck which can no longer be ordered. Worked great. Was the perfect consistency and hardened just right to make a very usable bushing.

Beware of bubbles!
Molds were unusable because of excess bubbles around master.

Terrible
I followed the directions to the letter. Removing my item from the mold I made was extremely hard and ended up having to tear the mold apart to safely remove the item and tearing it apart was a task. It was basically solid with no flexibility at all whatsoever no matter what I tried to do to soften it it didn't work. I will NEVER buy this product again.

Beware of moniker "Rubber"
Watch the Youtube video if you are a newbie. Very important. The word "rubber" made me think that the mold would come off easier. My first mold did come out right (my fault). I cannot get the original item out now without a lot of sanding and I'm still wondering how I'm going to get the item out without destroying the whole project.I don't know why the work "Rubber" is in the product name. This stuff should be called "plastic". Again, the problems are all my fault for not watching the video for a second time before I proceeded. I don't have a problem with the product, it's just not what I expected or needed.

Never again
I’ve been making moulds and casting for years, and have never use a product this hard before in my life. It retains every single bubble because it cures too fast to degas in a vacuum chamber, I got no more than 3mins from mixing to hard. Talking of hard, this would be fine as the material you were casting but not suitable for the mould, I practically destroyed the original trying to remove it from the titanium like hard mould. No flexibility, poor detail replication, (due to bubbles), and not worth the money. If you’re used to flexible moulds, and actually want to replicate fine detail, don’t use this, if you want to make some very expensive hockey pucks then go ahead, knock yourself out....

VERY FLEXIBLE
The product is fine such as it is, but it wasn't the right product for my project. I needed something more rigid than this. I like that it's mostly transparent, and it accepted my powdered fluorescent tint with no problem. and It's easy to work with. The product I did end up using is from the same company 'Simple Resin' and it's called 'True Translucent - Semi-Rigid'. I ended-up ordering a gallon from the manufacturer and the price was only $115 with shipping included...a huge savings.
