This is my own Full-Price personal purchase, without any contact from this company.I was lucky to circumvent the appearance of the aging process, until I reached my late fifties. Then unfortunately, my skin started losing its elasticity, went from normal to dry, and became a little thinner too. In addition, within a few short years the fine lines and wrinkles finally caught up with my age, and my thick hair started to thin along my temples.This put me into a ‘tail-spin’. In desperation, I became addicted to the Home Shopping Network, and those late night infomercials that promise dramatic age-reversal miracles. In conclusion, those ‘hyped-up’ products and the facial skin tightening machines were nothing more than a waste of time, effort and money. Any results were temporary, and only lasted a few hours or there were no positive improvements at all. In addition, there were incidences in which some products caused inflammation, redness, swelling and/or some irritation.I finally realized that these products ALL contained chemicals which were not healthy for my skin. After doing some extensive research, I started to experiment with different natural oils, all 100% pure and without any chemical additives.Although, each of the different pure and natural oils gave me better results than the chemical products, this Emu Oil demonstrated outstanding powers for both my skin and hair thinning issues. In addition, Emu Oil has other beneficial properties, some I have experienced and others that I have only read up on during my initial research.One of the many things that I liked about the InstaNatural Emu Oil is the large dark color glass 4 oz. bottle, with the pump application. I prefer a pump to an eye-dropper vial, a pump does not create a mess, and since I can control the amount I need, there is less wasted oil. In addition, this keeps both air and light away from the unused product in the bottle, which helps the Emu Oil to maintain its natural beneficial properties.My Own Personal Results for My Individual Issues:For my general skin-care maintenance, I apply the Emu Oil right after a shower and before toweling dry. I pour 3 drops in my palms, rub them together, and apply the oil this way for each section of my body. I apply Emu Oil to freshly cleansed and damp skin because Emu Oil is a powerful, transdermal agent that can penetrate deep into the skin. Therefore, its benefits don't just affect the surface layers, but also have the capacity to nourish skin at lower levels.It has been my personal experience to observe that even expensive store-bought moisturizing lotions might work throughout the day, but I would need another application in the evenings for my dry skin. However, natural Emu Oil keeps my skin moisturized and soft through the end of the day. Therefore, another application of moisturizer is not necessary.When I added the Emu Oil to my daily facial skin-care routine on a consistent basis (twice a day – both morning and evening), I received visible improvements for a smoother skin texture, brighter skin tone (less dull) and diminished fine lines. Although, my wrinkles have remained, I am thankful that they have NOT gotten worse.This Emu Oil is highly concentrated with a clear and medium-thick consistency. One squirt from the pump dispenses a dime-sized amount, which is enough to cover both my face and neck with a very thin application. After the applications of all my facial serums, I use only one pump amount, spread it in my palms, and then gently pat into my face and neck. This keeps my skin soft and supple and there is no oily or greasy residue from this small amount, and it absorbs without a greasy shine. As an added benefit, my fine lines are noticeably softer, less pronounced and are diminished (not appears diminished – the finer lines are diminished). It’s a fact that dry skin is prone to lines, whereas moisturized skin plumps out after hydration.For the evenings when I use a derma roller, I apply a thin application of Emu Oil to lubricate my face before my derma roll session, which helps to prevent skin irritation. This has helped me to extend the amount of time that I am able to endure the derma rolling procedure, and pre-lubrication helps to prevent the dry stinging irritation. As an extra benefit, I use the Emu Oil again, after all the facial applications as my last procedure. Emu oil is a soothing agent that provides relief from skin irritation. It re-moisturizes and helps to repair my ‘injured’ skin (from my derma rolling session). Emu Oil has inflammatory properties and it reduces the redness, the stinging and the swelling.In addition to my positive facial results, Emu Oil provides a phenomenal treatment for my hair.My hair is coarse textured, thick, and colored monthly with a chemically colored process, and therefore its condition is dry. In addition, it does tend toward a frizzy appearance (in both dry and humid climates) however; the Emu Oil keeps the frizz at a minimum, about 80% to 85% of the time. Currently, my hair is about 4 ½” past my shoulder. My other condition is age related, now that I am in my mid-sixties, there is a slight thinning around the temples of my forehead, but due to the consistent use of the Emu Oil, I have received some re-growth.I use one spurt of the Emu mixed in with a handful of shampoo, and as I shampoo I massage my scalp. I also use another spurt in my rinse out conditioner, and let in remain in my hair while I finish my shower. After my final rinse, and while my hair is still damp, I use just a touch of the Emu Oil once more as both a detangle assistant and apply it to the bottom length of my hair, which helps the ends to remain smooth and shiny.However, the biggest miracle is that hair on my thinning temples has grown back on the right side, and although I had lost hope for the left side of my head, my hair is finally growing back there too! In the evenings and after I applied the Emu Oil on my face, I used whatever was left on my hands and rubbed it into the temple areas of my hair. Since I previously only had a little bit of light fuzz, the oil absorbed into the skin without any oily residue. This has NOT happened overnight, it had taken several months of consistent use to receive some regrowth of my hair on my left side, nevertheless I am thrilled to see some hair growing in that area. This emu oil exceeded my expectations on all levels. I have never really been a high maintenance kind of girl. I didn't have so many health issues when I was younger so didn't really invest in caring for my well being back then, but then youth is wasted on the young, right? Fastforward, approaching 50 and things aren't the same, you know. Skin: brown spots, unevenness, flare ups. Hair issues: start losing a lot of strands, not healthy, itchy scalp Joints: achy, especially mornings. Allergies: I didn't have before magically appear. I did all topical, oral, OTC and prescribed, not too happy with many of them, especially the side effects. So without further ado, I may have stumbled onto something magical, at least to me. When I placed this order for the emu oil, it was a birthday present to myself, i didn't except the outcome that I had with this product. Since I have been suffering with all of the above, hope was really what I have left. I didn't use it right away, but a few days after I received the product, I woke up with some joint flare ups. I read the reviews and product description that it is also good for this problem. I said what the hey, and squirted a few drops and rubbed them around my wrists and elbows. I kid you not! In a matter of minutes the pain subsided, and i was beside myself. I was shaking my head and couldn't believe how fast the oil worked. I excitedly told my husband this, and he was happy for me. He probably thought I was nuts, but who cares! I felt better whether it was all in my head or not, this helped with my very first issue. So I have chronic joint problems because I am just hard on them, life of a blue collar worker. I felt around my shoulders, and sure enough, they were tender too, manual house chores can do that to me. So I thought why not, rub a dub some oil, waited a few minutes, and the throbbing pain on my rotator cuffs subsided. I am just floored. I used it on my eczema too, and just amazed on how much the itchiness and flare up went down. I really am excited what this oil was able to do for me in such a short time. This is the longest post I have ever written, I believe. I have found relief to my issues and will continue to use and monitor the results. This had helped me tremendously, and I can speak only to what my results are. I hope this review helps someone with the same issues.
