IF YOU LIKE COMFORT, TRACTION, AND DURABILITY MADE IN THE U.S.A. GET THIS BOOT!!! This boot is sweet af. It's basically the Danner Mountain 600 EXCEPT they are NOT waterproof, they are made for hotter weather, but they dry out super quick when wet, because of the nylon sides and mesh interior. So these are a godsend to me because I am on my feet basically all day. I believe my feet may have beat me to Heaven, because they are unbelievably comfortable and the cushioning is perfect. As I mentioned, the Mountain 600 are bad@ss, and I really like them a ton, but on multi day treks I need NON-waterproof boots so they can dry out, as fast as possible. I don't use the weird toe lace, because I found they lace much more snug without using it. Awesome boots! I like having a shoe laces as opposed to quick laces because these can be fixed in the field if the break. Definitely recommend.

Super comfortable boots for any fellow chair force members

They are comfortable and fit to size. They are soft and flexible out of the box and really do feel like you're wearing high top basketball shoes from the 80's when I was a kid. Only thing is, for hikes I wish they had a stiffer shaft from heel to arch. they are almost too flexible from heel to toe, and also the heel is low, so they really stretch your achilles when you walk in them. Not sure I'd recommend for long hikes for a heavier middle aged guy like myself.

Great shoes. Comfortable right out of the box. I’m on my feet for 12 hours every workday, and have spent a lot of money searching for the right blend of comfort/durability/support. My last pair were from Salomon, and they were pretty good, but the toe box was a little narrow for my feet. These have a roomy toe box and my feet feel much better at the end of a shift.

My feet sweat like crazy in the Texas heat, on roofs and ladders most of the day. These boots combined with good socks are fantastic. Dry and cool

This is a nice boot with the following observations. I am 230lbs...11.5 foot. My feet are kind of tender...don't go barefoot at all and don't wear flip flops....so....Here is what I notice in the boot: It has little to no cushioning for the ball of your foot. The support seems to wrap the perimeter of the foot...but not a whole lot under the sole. Most cushioning seems to come from the tread of the boot. I've only had the boots for a few weeks now...so not a lot of experience with them. But I would have liked a little more support and cushioning.
