Cut from salvaged pine boards from old barns most built in the early 1900's. The pieces are all planed to 3/8 " thick and have a plane edge machined along the long sides. They each cover 3 1/2" in width and cut to length from 6" to 36" long. They have been gently sanded, sealed with a water based clear sealer, sanded again and a coat of finishing wax applied as a top coat. There are varying colors and textures from light to browns and charcoal as shown in the sample pictures. There will be some knots and nail holes left in to add to the charm and character. Easily installs with tubes of construction adhesive. All boards are hand cut and reviewed to make sure no "junk" like pieces are included like missing knots, etc. Installation Tips: We usually use Lepages PL Premium adhesive in a tube and apply a wave pattern of glue on the back of each piece. A 1/4" bead is a good amount and then place against wall, firmly pushing and a little twist to level out the bead. Every other row, we will nail through the edge into the wood studs for added support with a finish nail. For an easier job you can use the new Fast grab PL premium.
