61706 Outdoor Patio Rattan Adjustable Pool Chair, Chaise Lounge Brown, Brown Wicker

I ordered 2 of these for our backyard patio and I am super pleased with both their look and overall comfort. Putting them together, however, takes patience and time. The assembly process is a bit difficult only because the mesh needs to be tightly stretched so that the chaise is comfortable, supportive and does not sag when you sit on it. The frame is completely sturdy and durable. The back rest can easily be adjusted into one of 5 positions from complete recline to a full sitting position. The chaise also comes with a comfortable headrest pillow that can be easily adjusted up or down for the ideal position of comfort.

I rarely post ill reviews on Amazon but this one but I do feel the need to warn buyers--Literally the most difficult thing we have ever had to put together. If you do not own a drill with an allen wrench attachment, don't even BOTHER buying this. The hand-allen wrench provided will NOT get the job done. In order to get the mesh in place, the pressure and force of a drill is NECESSARY. Luckily, we have a drill but this would have been impossible without. There is a "Warning" type paper inside the box that the mesh will appear too small because it must stretch and be tight--- LOL--- UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR. The mesh does not stretch at all and the level of force required to assemble this is lucky it did not demolish the outside wicker frame.IF YOU ARE INEXPERIENCED AT BUILDING, do not bother! We have built many, many things in our home (some out of a box like this, some from scratch by hand) and I would NEVER pay this price to have to assemble anything this ridiculous ever again. No parts labeled. Poor instructions. Cheap screws. Also, when it was all said and done-- half the screws are not even in completely because the screws provided were so cheap they stripped while trying to forcefully get the mesh in place.I give this chair a 5 for comfort, but I'm sure you can find one in a store that is just as comfortable and 0% of the headache. We made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing 2 for our pool and since we couldn't get the first one apart to return due to stripped screws, we are stuck with trying to put together the 2nd chair so they match.WOULD NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN.

This was very difficult to align and get together but it is very sturdy! Note when putting the seats on you need to just get the screws in a little in every spot then tighten little by little if you screw one side of the chair part in and try to go to the other side you will not get anywhere near the other side. The chair part stretches as you tighten the screws. It took much longer than I expected to get it together but I am happy with the end result!!

Overall, it's a very sturdy, well made piece of poolside furniture. The cap screw bolts and associated wrenches seem to be made of fossilized peanut butter. (very soft) You will need a set of Allen wrenches of your own in order to complete construction. Mine began showing wear from twisting after tightening just a few bolts. BTW ... the assembly instructions are good, but no narrative details or warnings. Be cautious when installing the seat and foot sections. Start all bolts in those sections with a minimum number of turns. Tighten a few turns ... then tighten the opposing bolt, working your way down back and forth. Sure, it's an hour of my time I will never see again, but ... it's a very nice looking, well built, poolside chaise lounge. I will probably buy another one soon.

This is a comfortable chaise for the price point and looks nice, too. I will say it was VERY hard to assemble. The directions are confusing and the fabric for the seating has to be assembled to the frame. Be prepared to spend an entire day putting this together.

The foot section clearly mounted upside down by manufacturer, not a good sign for a quality product and especially disappointing since so difficult to install!!

Thought they looked nice on went, I'm very good at assembling things and following instructions. They were fine to put together but very difficult due to how tightly things fight together. If you don't follow instructions completely it won't go together and screws will strip.Once set up very upset that the wicker started to fall apart and break hopefully I can glue together but for cost of chair very upset. Then the mesh came apart and can't get back together.Would not buy this chair again for the cost

Very good quality! Love the chair! Very comfortable! If you have the right tools it would be faster to put together....
