Works well, has had lots of use
As described.Have a number of them, they've been used hard with heavy recoveries with no issue and have held up well.Better to use a soft shackle in case of failure than a metal one.And being big and red it's easier to find when dropped in the mud!

Expensive coloured rope with a loose knot.
The 14mm soft shackle I bought is a little expensive for what it is in my view. More than likely over-kill for light recovery work.It is important with these soft shackles to make sure the knot is tightly and evenly formed before use.....it appears on the one I received the knot although evenly formed is NOT tight. When in use the knot will tighten but needs to be done properly and evenly so as not to deform its shape.....this is a 'flaw' in my opinion and at this price should not be the case!
