I felt like its necessary to leave this product a review. I have tried other cat fountain products however this one is probably the best one I have used. I took it out and clean it for the second time, and it was easy to clean and assemble back together. The sponge they provide with the product helps a lot to keep the pump running. most other products would probably end up clotting. The two fountain heads are great if you need variation for your cats. I have three cats and they all love the product. The night light keeps you informed about the water level. Once again this is a great product.

This fountain is perfect. My furbabies love to paw at the water and it use to knock over the bowl. I was reluctant because some models say whisper quiet and they whisper like toddlers. To all you non parents.... EXTREMELY LOUD. Well this one is church mouse quiet. Easy to assemble. The cats LOVE the fountain. It mimics the same flow as when they try to drink from the sink. The light is a wonderful night light in the kitchen and shows us how full or empty thier water is. Highly recommend to all pet owners.

So one day my cat started going to the litter box multiple times consecutively in a short amount of time. Me getting curious went once to see what he was doing and he’d get in position to urinate and would look like he was trying but only a little would come out, he’d do this instead of just releasing it all at once like usual. Being a concerned parent I took him to the vet the next day and they examined a sample of his urine and told me he had crystals in his bladder. Not good. Could be very lethal but since he could still urinate a little they said there was a chance he could pass them still. So they prescribed him some food and told me before I left if he stops urinating all together that I have to rush him to a pet hospital within hour or it’ll be fatal. Yeah that wasn’t stressful to hear. Right before I left though, bless her soul, the woman at the front desk told me she ran into the same thing and that her cat only eats the prescribed food (Canin Brand) and drinks out of a fountain. Now I’m the pass my friend mentioned that he heard that cars like to drink from running water sources instead of standing water because they still got a bit of the wild in them or something along those lines. So I pulled the trigger and bought this fountain. And here I am two weeks later after I bought it writing this review with my cat going to the litter box normally again, stress free, and very grateful for this simple to use basically life saving fountain. My cat drinks WAY more water now it’s amazing. Can’t appreciate this fountain more than I already do. Saved me from possibly losing my nugget. Love it

Quiet, easy clean, very good price. My only complaint is that the LED is too bright for the product. It doesn't just shine out of the little holes in the top or the indicator window in the front. It shines straight through the plastic sides and lights up the entire room like a lamp. I painted the outside to the bowl to a dark bronze color to block most of the light because I couldn't fall asleep with the room lit up blue like that. It's much better after that alteration. If they were to add a button or switch on it somewhere so that you could turn off the light without turning off the fountain it would be perfect. Is still a great product for a kitchen, living room, den, etc. I would recommend looking for something else if you intend to put it in a bedroom.

You do need to purchase a large set of both the water filters and the charcoal filters because the water filters need to be replaced every 2 weeks and the charcoal sponge filters should be replaced every 3 months. I must rinse and clean the charcoal filter every 2 weeks, but it can be reused after hair removal and good rinsing several times before replacing it. The filters stink if used longer than 2 to 3 weeks. It is well worth the investment since my 3 love fresh cold water and the fresh water trickle keeps them coming back for more water throughout the day. Change water daily! All of my fur kids love me adding 2 to 3 cups of ice cubes daily to a few cups of water. Would buy again, but it would be nice if the filter system lasted longer between changes! Be sure to buy the correct water filters for this. Your fur kids will love these watering systems and the night light is a great plus to prevent someone running into it at night.

The product itself is ok. However, my cat does not want to get close to the unit. She does not like the splash or the sound of the running water. This is a personal issue. One may have to think twice if a cat loves the running water. I would still recommend. Each cat acts or reacts to things differently.

This is a great fountain for cats. EXCEPT FOR REPLACEMENT FILTERS.My cats loved to drink water from the faucets but that was impractical to leave on throughout the day. I've had other waterfall fountains that worked ok but needed constant monitoring for water flow & were loud. This one is quiet until the water gets really low. This fountain is perfect for cats. My biggest complaint is the filter issue. I have purchased several replacements that say they will fit & they don't. I've had to make do & be creative with the replacements ie- I've had to cut the filters into individual pieces to fit into the wells. There is no filter made by the company, it seems. The website they offer does not take you to a place to buy filters. I am hoping I will find a suitable filter on Amazon because this really is a great fountain.
