These lights are very pretty, and I like all the settings available. However, my husband and I noticed a high-pitched ringing noise shortly after putting these up. We finally figured out that it's coming from the battery pack, as soon as the last battery makes a full circuit. At first I thought that since it was high enough that we could barely register it, we could ignore it. But it turned out to be just at the edge of our hearing so that it was annoying. I finally just took the battery out and took them down. They'll probably be fine for outdoors, but we live in an apartment and only decorate inside.I also couldn't figure out how to get the lights to connect to music, because the instructions do not cover it. I think I have an idea, but I'm not sure and I'm not planning to mess with it until I have a good outdoor setting for the lights.Update: Upped my rating for these because over Christmas, I decided to put the batteries back in these and add them to a wreath for the front door (A++ idea, btw, very pretty!) And the high pitched sound had disappeared!!! Not sure what caused it or why it went away!! Best theory is interference with the TV that was once in the same room, bc for some reason the remote for that tv could actually turn the lights on and off.

**** UPDATE**** very responsive in replacing light strand that didn’t work! Thank you so much! You’ve made my child extremely happy! We are using them to make a DJ Marshmello helmet for Halloween. Will post pictures when it’s finished. !!!!Make sure to check the lights right out of the box. I started a project and forgot to check both strands. Got ready to start the second strand only to find out they didn’t work. Hoping for a quick replacement! Will update on customer service and replacement!

The pictures are completely misleading. This is a thin thin (touch and break thin) wire with little globs of glue that light. It tangles to itself constantly. I would NEVER put them outside. These are basically single use. But.. . I love them. They light up nice and bright, the sound works, they get brighter when there is noise. The remote doesn't do anything on either set.

Had an issue with remote. It stopped working after 24 hrs of putting lights up. Other than that, they were cute. Stayed out throughout the holiday.

Used them on wreath outdoors as well as indoors. They were terrific & the timer went on & off as set.

Bought this product because it is waterproof and battery operated. Truly held up to the it's description.will buy again.
