Accent really adds that yummy umami flavor to savory dishes! MSG isn’t bad for you! That’s an urban myth that got started after some guy back in the 1950s got indigestion after eating out at a Chinese restaurant that used it, and he just assumed, with ZERO EVIDENCE and no scientific studies, that his stomach ache was caused by the MSG. Like, dude, maybe you overate? Maybe the chicken was off? But no, homeboy kicked up a big fuss, the media ran with it, and combined with an unhealthy dose of anti-Asian racism, MSG got an undeserved bad rap. Studies were eventually done, and lo and behold, MSG was declared innocent. But the rumors of its guilt persist. People STILL think it’s evil. *sigh* Urban legends have staying power. But the wickedness of MSG is only as true as that story of the young couple who went to make out in their car one night while a hook-handed psychopath was on the loose, and they found a bloody hook hanging on the car door handle the next morning after driving away. Ooooh! Flashlight under my chin! Use Accent! It makes everything savory taste AMAZING!!!!!
