I like this crate. I use it as a convenience crate for my Border Collie. In general, she's very good in a crate. Once in the crate, she settles down, content to watch the world and even sleep. Outside the crate, she wants to do something different every 10-15 minutes. I like the way she uses the crate as her own little den. It really quiets her down!I gave it 4 stars because I like the crate, and it's excellent for what it is. You should not use this crate if your dog is strongly motivated to escape the crate. My BC can escape this crate in about 20 seconds if she wants. She paws the door, rolls the crate so that the zipper is on the floor, and then paws the zipper. Thankfully, this happens only if she's strongly motivated, which is rarely.I am knocking the star off not because of the rolling issue, but because I'm not convinced the crate will stand up to repeated popping open.For those of you with dogs who would roll the crate, Sportpet makes another popup crate with a sturdier door. I'm considering getting one of those, too.
