The main issue with using this so far has been the amount of time it takes to give the reading when using as a basic thermostat, my old thermostat was basically instantaneous when sticking it in the food but with this I am often waiting up to 2 minutes for it to reach the current temperature. Perhaps it works better when using for food already in the oven with the target temp setting being used but I have not used this function yet and usually just use it to ensure I have hit the desired temperature at the time I think it should be cooked.

Bought for my parents who have found it a little tricky to get used to but do like the overall concept and say it has improved the tenderness of the meats they are cooking by avoiding the overcooking. Recommended.

More accurate than the BBQ thermometer and two channels is a real advantage. Settings are ok but take a bit to get used to the menu cycles. Great for the price and essential for proper low n slow cooking.

Bought this hoping for a cheaper alternative to a phone enabled thermometer ... and wasted my money. Works very well for a few months.

Cracking item, works great both probes able to read different temperatures, the only downside is the magnet frankly its rubbish, put it on the fridge, it slid down but i managed to catch it, tried on my bbq dame again! The only down side of this great item

The wireless range on it isn't the best. I went inside my kitchen, maybe 5M away from the smoker, it worked for a few minutes then cut out. For the cost it's okay but there are definitely better ones on the market.

No batteries so cant use out of box on top of very slow delivery false temp reading so bearly fit for purposeslow to responde to food temp

Superb item. I use with my bbq smoker 1 probe for the chamber nd the other for the meat really easy to use
