Great Entry Level e-bike
I really enjoy biking but found full-size bikes to be a super nuisance in NYC apartments. I ended up recently getting a Qualisports bike and am very happy with it. The bike folds up nicely and can fit in the back of an Uber (I've done this)Pros:Excellent Design -- lightweight, discrete battery, 6061 aluminumHidden cadence sensor -- This is a problem with cheaper bikes, as you need to clean the magnets off every now and again if exposed. NOT a problem with this design.Inexpensive for what's offeredHigh-Quality accessories on their website (i have the front and back rack, and bag)Cons:Completely cheaped out on saddle, pedals, and rim stripsinappropriate tire selection for an ebike -- despite being name-brand, would have loved reinforced tiresThe battery runs out too quickly. With this said, it seems like an extra battery could be mounted to the frame. I'm actively reaching out to Qualisports about manually installing an extra battery.I don't know of anything better for less. This is the ultimate starting point for e-transport.
