Spiral Slicer Spiralizer

I received my spiralizer and it is working as expected. I have only used it so far for zucchini and it is working well with that. It took a little bit of getting used to at first to get the spirals to come out in long strands. My daughter, a vegetarian, liked the idea so well, that I went a head and ordered one for her. She loves it, she is trying out the recipes from the book and has made 2 so far and is very happy with them. I am not really sure if it works better than ones available at a lower cost, hopefully it is although I have no way to know and now seeing other companies reducing their prices closer to $10. I am wondering if I paid too much.

Haven't tried it yet. Item description mentions it would come with a cookbook, which would be nice since I've never used one of these. Considering sending it back for one that actually does come with with items it says it does. It did come with the cleaning brush, but that was inside the box. Was anxiously waiting for this to arrive.

Really was easy to use hand held. For some reason I thought it would be larger. This is good for skinny veggies. I would have to cut a potato down to fit it in the slicer. Kids liked their swirly and noodle veggies.

I do recommend this for simple quick tasks. This is a simple tool that does exactly what it is meant to do. I will probably use it for quick tasks. However, it is too small to be able to handle large volumes and all the types of raw food that the bigger spirulizers are better equipped to handle.

Works great on zucchini and carrots. Not so much on cukes and softer veggies. I have arthritis in my hand so it tires easily, but my husband loves everything I've made with it so far!!

This is an amazing slicer. The fact that you can choose two different sizes is a plus! Making your own "Noodles" is an awesome alternative way to eat spaghetti. Instead of using pasta, just slice your own noodles from Zucchini. The cleaning brush makes cleaning the slicer a breeze. This size of the slicer is also a plus. It is very compact and it will fit just about anywhere around the kitchen. This is must have if you are trying to eat healthier or go vegetarian. The time it will save you is worth the small cost.So far it has been great. I can't wait to continue to try new things with this slicer. 5 stars for me!

Rather small cutter but will cut ribbons if you make the zucchini pieces small enough.

I love the spiral slicer! It adds fun to otherwise boring salads( at least for my kids it does) I can now get them to eat more vegetables because they just look different. It's amazing what things you can do to get your kids to eat healthier just by changing the shape of the vegetable. It is a sturdy hard plastic and the blade is sharp and works great. It creates spiral veggies you can use to garnish with, and also use to make spaghetti squash easily and little effort. It is easy to clean and comes with its own cleaning brush.
