Haven't tried it in the rain. But without anything in it, it's light. I am using it and like it.

You would laugh if I told you that I was lugging around my 15-inch Dell laptop in a canvas bag for this past year. Honestly, it was an accident waiting to happen and thanks to this wonderful bag, that is no longer the case. This is a REALLY NICE bag and I really mean it! The bag has so many different zippered compartments and most importantly, enough room to put your mouse, chords, and whatever else you might need, also including a velcro strap to secure the laptop in its' own space, as you would expect. The bag is padded so that it feels like it will take a beating and I really feel like my laptop is protected. It's a quality bag and it looks so good! I received a small discount in exchange for leaving an honest review and this is my absolute honest opinion. There are a lot of cheap bags out there and this is not one of them. My mother is a caseworker and because of that she has to carry several files of clients with her. I got this for her to make her job easier. This is the second one I have bought her the other one was another brand and it was more like a purse then suitcase. This one however is perfect for her, she can keep the Case Files, pens, a small travel umbrella, and her other paperwork with her in one place. It is extremely well made and is very durable. The stitching is immaculate and I have looked to see if there were any flaws and I could not find any. It is a beautiful color and will match just about anything. She is very pleased with this product and vegan to use it the day after it came. Shipping was extremely fast in a ride within 2 business days and it was package safely so no one could tamper or damage it.I receive this product in exchange for an honest review. I really love this laptop bag! It fits a 15.3 laptop, the charger, a laptop fan, and a mouse. The bag feels sturdy and looks very nice. It has some extra padding inside for the laptop, which I think will protect it *if* the bag gets dropped (which I hope won't happen).I don't have any complaints and am really glad that I got this bag.*I received this product at a discount for my honest review.
