Fantastic for fogs and off-roading
So far, I love these as fog lights on my Tacoma. I wired them into my plate bumper, and the fit was perfect. Without the amber covers, they are blinding bright and will be great on the night trails that we run. With the amber covers on, they work awesome as fogs for in town. Nobody has high-beamed me yet, and the fill is great even though they are spots. Point them down a little below your main headlights, and they really help. The true test will be over time, especially after they get wet a few times and get shaken around on the trails. If I get 1 year out of them, I will be happy with my purchase. I got 2 full years out of my previous LED fogs before one started losing LEDs one by one from moisture creep after multiple power washes. My pictures show one with both amber covers installed, and the other shows one cover off to compare color temp. I'm running Osram bulbs which are brighter than factory Toyota bulbs.

Bright ambers, work great as fog lights
Nice and bright! The amber covers dim the lights a noticeable amount, but they are still more than bright enough for fog lights. I knew these were inexpensive copies of overpriced LEDs, and the real problem with many cheaper copies is water intrusion. The first thing I did was disassemble these lights and seal them with silicone, just to prevent potential issues before they arose. Then I soldered on some weatherpak connectors to finish out a completely 'waterproof' system. I mounted them in a demello bumper on a tacoma, after which I took the truck on a 4000+ mile overland trip through New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Deep water, mud, rain, dust, freezing temps; these lights handled it all just fine. No water intrusion, no moisture buildup at all.I'm very happy with the quality and I don't mind spending 15 minutes to seal them myself to make sure they stay sealed. I highly recommend these over their wildly overpriced name-brand counterparts.

Honest review compared to other pod lights.
Night riding on a motorcycle needs lights. I have been using these lights for a week now. I’ve done some day time testing and night time. From the start I noticed the lights were packaged with care. The lights looked great and looked to be built with quality in mind. Installing was a breeze. I found that the the lights were limited to adjustments. I had to bend the mount to make the light to shine straight out. I bought the flood lights because I wanted a wider view but noticed that the light didn’t shine as much as I wanted it too. During the day I noticed that the lights gave me more visibility to other drivers. Night time my head light shined farther than the led lights. I compared them to my 18w 3” pods that I had on my jeep and these pods were more like a warm light light bulb compared to daylight light bulb. Looking at the pods they are bright but at a distance they are uncontrolled and dissipate. I would like to see how the spot version compares to these floods. I am going to use these lights on my UTV since they are bright at a short distance. I feel these lights will last a long time and won’t fog up. I have had them in water already and no sign of moisture inside. I’m going to do some adjusting and more testing over the next few weeks and hope to make another review. The company is great to work with and they listen to all concerns. One thing the company needs to work on is the tools. They included two Allen wrenches in the set and both rounded off. They might want to use one and make it stronger. Don’t need two wrenches when you are installing the same size bolt.

Nope
They are bright. However, they've been mounted in the back bumper of my new Jeep for less than a month and they've got water in them already.Update: After I posted my original review these guys sent me an email saying they would replace the lights IF I would change my review. Now, IF they had sent me new lights and then said, "would you mind updating your review to show we took care of you?" I would be willing to do that. I still wouldn't give them five stars because you only get one chance to get five stars. I would've given them four stars for standing behind their product.I did update this to four stars. Then I waited. Crickets. So, back to one star they go. The lights still have water in them as shown in the pictures. Those pictures were taken one week after install. There's a bit more water in them now.

Nice quality, low amp draw, super bright flood lights!
I like playing in the desert with my truck... That means adding some extra lighting to expand my field of view and to light up a camp site. I’ll be toying with these pods on various locations on my truck. Here's what I learned.--These a flood lights. That means the light pattern spreads out rather than being focused.--These draw 0.87 amps per light when powered at about 12.39V = 10.7W.--Wire lead is about 14” long.--Lens area is about 2”x2”.--The outer dimension of the metal surrounding the lens is about 3”x3”.Good:-- Nice even light in white color--Spreads like a true flood design--Housing construction feels strong--Good heat sink in back.Bad:--None yet.--As time goes on I’ll add more info to this review as I gain more experience with these.MOD Ideas:--I haven’t mounted these yet. Originally, I was thinking of these as replacements for my front LED lights. However, I’m thinking now of putting them on ditch light mounts or event directional mounts off my shell for illuminating camp.--The bolts look nice. I haven’t tried to open them yet, but it might be a fun project to try flush mounting these.
