Very sturdy! Clacks loud!

Very strong design, blows a lot of wind, very effectiveI’ve been carrying vans for music festivals and raves since 2015 to try to survive the heat of being out in the sun or in the middle of a massive crowd. This fan is by far one of the best out there, I’m very picky with my fans because they fall parts, don’t blow enough wind, or are too heavy. I’ve gone through maybe 30 fans that didn’t hold up to the beating that they take being at a festival or that break/fall apart when you try to fan too hard with them which you typically need to when your group of friends is dying of heat in a festival. The only time I need to buy more of these whenever I lose them. If it falls apart on you then maybe it was just a defective unit or that handling of the fan because I put these things through hell and don’t break.If you’re trying to figure out which fan to buy for a festival, this is your sign to stop looking and just buy this one.I will say though, some of my female friends that are used to caring the very small plastic flimsy fans find this fan to be too heavy. (Saw similar reviews like that here). It’s definitely heavier than those so keep that in mind. It’s definitely not too heavy though, lighter than this would just make it more flimsy and that is definitely not what you want at a rave/music festival. It literally says RAVE in the description of this fan. It’s not meant to be something flimsy, extremely light, nor a decorative piece furniture like “most other Asian fans”... (saw a review like that too).Just bought 5 more now that festivals are coming back lol

What I Expected for the Price: A fan that opens easily, closes easily, doesn’t break of crack easily, is the size and description given, and holds up with a mild but fiery flick of the wrist. What I Got: exactly what I expected. Listen, this is an $11 fan. It looks fantastic in black, the fabric looks more expensive than it is, and it gives off a wonderful amount of air (not to mention the very loud clack it makes- I love it).Challenges: it is glued so it doesn’t close easily for those who want that delicious clack while flicking it closed. My hands are small- I believe a larger hand could control it better. For those getting this as a personal AC (you know what I mean😉), this is perfect. If you want better quality- I honestly wouldn’t shop online for your fabulous fan. This is good quality for the money and an online purchase- comes with a lovely bag and is expertly packaged (high marks for that). The measurements are true. I wanted a large fan. If you want a small, delicate fan, this is NOT for you. This fan is for the fierce at heart, honey. Enjoy!

A great, sturdy fan for a really good price! Slight learning curve to use it, in that prior to this I'd only ever had small fans, which work best with a quick, efficient flutter of the wrist to cool you down. With these you need to use your whole forearm in a slower motion, but the result is a breeze that can either be felt several feet away or right through your bodice if you're in a period or corseted look! Also a very effective tool for making friends on a hot day.
