Prolite Helix 240V 30W E27 Daylight

A replacement was needed as when these type of lights go there is no warning they just wont go on. Buying this bulb from Amazon was much cheaper than buying from my local shop. Always assuming they have this wattage in stock as in most cases they don't. This gives good decent bright light for the corner of our living room. Good for when we want to read and not watching TV.

sticks out of the lamp a bit, otherwise very bright white light.

Fitted this to an outside bulkhead lampholder on my rear patio wall, after a new Timeguard ZV700 7-day digital, programmable light switch wouldn't work properly with the existing Philips T2 Tordado 240 V 23W daylight bulb. Now it works fine - the higher wattage on the Prolite bulb is what appears to have made the difference.

I was under the impression that I would recieve the exact one shown in the image. The ones I received were slightly different! They do the job nonetheless
