I bought this for indoors when sleeping. I notice each morning he’s curl Ip to preserve his body heat. So now I put the fleece vest on for night time sleeping. At first, he didn’t like having anything on but he got used to it. So now in the morning he’s all stretched out. He’s a 2 yr old golden doodle, 48 lbs, medium to the taller side but NOT a standard. The fleece ordered was a 2XL. Yes, 2XL. fits him perfectly. Good quality and very warm. Not flimsy! Good for outdoor & indoors. Not sure how it can withstand rain or snow. Haven’t tried it under these elements but again, the soul purpose was for indoors night time sleeping. Will need to order a few more to experience it for outdoor elements. Definitely give it a try if your dog easily gets cold.

This is like comfy warm sweater in early colder fall to winter wear. Not water proof. Fits as chartedMy dogs 15-18 lbs wear Mediums. Cairn and Rat terriers. The short hairs dog finds it soft and comfortable. She is fussy and finds some coats itchy. Not this one. It’s approved by “Taylor”

Easy-on, easy-off Velcro flaps are great for pups who don't stay still for you very long. It has a little elastic ring to go around the pups tail to hold the "tail" of the shirt in place. I have a Boxer with almost zero tail, so this does nothing for us, but I would love this normally. The material is a bit thin at the back, but mostly is very warm with a double collar you can fold up and down. The collar has a reflective band, which is great for being able to see him outside the dark. It also has a hole sewn into the collar of the shirt to attach a leash. My pup wears a harness (which has the leash ring in the center of the pups shoulders), so again we could not use this feature, but I could see how some would like it. The shirt just goes under the harness for us.I shopped around for price vs. quality on a budget and this did end up being a solid buy.

This is a nice fleece jacket with large velcro closures, which makes it adjustable. It runs a little long for our pittie, but stays in place. We used for fall and if we need to, it can act like a liner for his winter coat.

We live in California, so it keeps her warm enough. You would need something thicker for colder areas.

I love this coat! It is so easy to put on and take off my dog. It fits good and the tail elastic is a bonus! It fits perfect and I love that it came in purple. I highly recommend this coat. It is lightweight but still warm.

I bought two 3XL. My dogs love it because it keep them warm but I wish the sizes were bigger. The 3XL was good on my Labrador but a little small on my Lab/Mastiff.

Great dog coat. Easy to put on. Light weight and arrived quickly. Make sure to measure your dog and check the size chart. Originally bought the wrong size and reordered the correct size.
