Great Product!
I wanted something better than my 3 trays of pencils from my Prizmacolor set because they take up a lot of room on my drawing table. I tried to make a flip-up holder out of wood but it was a disaster. I discovered that I am a wood butcher and not a craftsman by any stretch. The Colored Pencil Drawing Time Saver Organizer was perfect for the job and the craftsmanship was great. It was money well-spent.

Very functional, makes drawing easier. Recommended.
Good product, one minor quibble.Pros:Does what is designed to do, organize colored pencils and pastel pencils in a practical and highly visual way.Easy to use while drawing. As somebody else observed, the pencils are slightly wobbly; I consider that OK, as if they were too snug, it would make it difficult to get them out. When in the middle of the drawing, that would be an annoyance.Sturdy, well glued together, the depth of the holes is good.Cons:For the price, I would have expected that the holes were sanded. I had to sand some of them, as there were wood curls/small glue drips that needed to be cleaned. No biggie, but should not be needed.Overall, I find this a very useful item. I bought 3 of them.

Utter Crap.
I am so utterly disappointed, and I am not happy at all. I expected a decent product to use in my studio, and I didn't get that at all.The image shown? That is a decent wood, properly drilled and sanded, and varnished.I received cheap, unvarnished pine that is so poorly finished that it's still covered in splinters. The holes I will have to re-drill myself, because they're all too small unless you're using children's brushes. Also, if this drops, it's going to come apart because it's three pieces of wood put together with wood glue. If there are dowels involved I would be VERY surprised.I will never, ever buy a product from this seller again. I bought 2, so that's over $60 flushed. Don't waste your money; make it yourself.

Great organizer for pencils and brushes.
Love this stand/organizer, it's the perfect thing for my colored pencils! No, it isn't "finished"... but it is a heavy, sturdy stand, and for the price, a good value, I think. Arrived very quickly, and I was able to fit all of my expensive Polychromos pencils. Now I can see all of the colors at once, and arrange them by color family - a big help! Am planning to buy more in the various sizes to accommodate some of my other pencil sets and brushes.

Not what I hoped for,
The concept is simple and should work; but the holes are too big for the Prismacolor pencils I bought it for - so they slop around quite a bit. Also the middle and tallest blocks have the first row of holes drilled deeper so that the pencils stair step up (good idea). But in the unit I received, the middle block is reversed, so that the pencils in that row are higher than the row behind it.

It does the job but pricey.
Kinda pricey for the unfinished unvarnished product. It does its job showing specialty pencils.

Too long
I wish it was half the size

I LOVE THIS Pencil Holder!!! Will Buy AGAIN!
I think I saw they make an even larger one, I wish I had noticed that before I got this one. I LOVE IT. My Uncle who is a professional artist had something like this years ago and I have always wanted one. I bought THREE portable carriers and before the second one came I found this. I found it to be SOLID, and fairly precise. It holds my PrismaColors PERFECTLY, tho if I do order the larger one I may ask to customize it a bit and get a few of the holes even larger. The only con would be maybe adding a plastic corner protector as being pine 2/8 corners did have slight dings but now that I am up and using it daily I don't even notice. When I sand my cutting board and refill it I will oil this pine as I think it will be a bit nicer but whatever, for the $30 plus shipping I would definitely order again. And to the to Craig, NOT ONE splinter did I find. Not even a potential for such.
