Western Pack 2000 Series 18" Duffel Bag

I purchased this for a trans-Pacific flight. I wanted a bag that would store under my seat and could hold a variety items needed for the flight (and the day after in case my luggage was lost).This is a sturdy bag with many zippered pockets to keep things separate. Here is how I separated my items:Main compartment - neck pillow, pair of shoes, electric razor, change of underwear, noise-cancelling headphones, a couple magazines1 end compartment - medicines, toothbrush/toothpaste Purell, and sleeping mask. It was easy to remove the liquids and gels from the pocket when going through TSA.other end compartment - quite a few snacksSide pocket 1 - pens and immigration/customs formsSide pocket 2 - iPod and iPhone.One side has a strap attached to the bag that allows you to attach the bag to the handle of your roller suitcase.It was small enough to fit inside my suitcase.In summary, it had everything I was looking for.

perfect size for what I need it for. I use it for my martial arts clothes and shoes along with other items. I love the front pockets for keys, phone, etc. I also fit my notebook and grappling gloves in the side pockets. I can put a full set of extra clothes in here without issues. If you are looking for a more spacious bag, I would look more into the "22 inch bag that they sell, looks exactly the same. This one just happens to fit my needs.

Overall, it's a pretty good bag: well made, tough material that will stand up, multiple pockets. The only issue I have is with the zip closure of the main compartment. It's as if they mismatched it to the bag, causing it to sag downward and making it difficult to open and close.

I have Chrons disease and needed a bag to put together an emergency with a change of cloths, meds, etc. I wanted something solid but not too big or small. This turned out to be just right for a medium sized bag that could be used for such a purpose. The stitching and build so far is holding up and appears to be of good quality.

I bought this to replace an identical bag I bought years ago. I'm an airline pilot, and this bag has been my daily-use carry on bag. For me it's the perfect size, with plenty of pockets. It's changed in minor ways, but I'm thinking it should be as good as my last one. It's a great bag for twice the price.

Excellent, heavy duty bag. Reinforced straps can handle a lot of weight as well as the shoulder strap. The shoulder strap has metal clips instead of the plastic clips most bags come with. I use this as a flight bag for day trips, holds all of my charts, extra clothes, thermos and water bottles, flashlights, and magazines no problem. Great alternative to the $100+ flight cases which match the 18" length this bag is. Just recently the threads to the shoulder strap starting coming out from the clip but I just stitched them back up with thread, good as new. Everything else has help up great.

This appears sturdily built but it's smaller than it looks. The end pockets are great but the side pockets aren't big enough to even hold that quart baggie of liquids the TSA makes you use.

I got this tote bag so when I go to the gym I don't have to take my purse with me. It was the only one I found with enough pockets/compartments (7 all together)to hold all my items without my sunglasses or MP3 player getting scratched or broken from my car keys. It's very durable and even when I jam it full, it still feels light to carry. I'm very pleased with the quality of the bag and with the seller.
