SC2000 600TVL D-WDR DNR Board Camera SONY Super HAD CCD for FPV, 2.8mm Lens, IR Blocked Filter

I have experience with 3 of these camera's. This cameras latency is best in class and critical for FPV (First Person View in model aircraft) work.Comments on performance: Color saturation changes dramatically with sunlight so don't expect perfect videos. For flying Quad copters or model planes nothing beats this little beast.Comments on hardware. The three lead video connector is non standard and very delicate. Two connectors have been damaged (destroyed). Finding an exact replacement was impossible. I found a satellite receivers (OrangeRX) connector was slightly larger but the same pin count and spacing. By shaving the new connectors sides, it was made to work.Robustness. I have slammed this camera into the ground from heights of 100 feet and 30mph numerous times. It survived intact and functioning in 10 of 11 crashes. The 11th crash killed the camera (and video transmitter). The lcamera lense housing took the impact first and broke free of the PC board and bounced 15 feet away. One Integrated circuit on the PC board (dual op amp) was sheard off the board . That was a violent crash.

Camera worked great for the first six flights or so. After that, it started getting intermittent break-up/drop-outs. No crashes or hard landings, so I think I just got one of a bad production run. There are plenty of these cameras out there and little complaints.Phoebe at SC2000 was great to deal with for the warranty. She shipped out a replacement camera promptly and I just received it. 4/5 stars for the hardware failure, but 5 stars for the vendor.

Awesome camera, but you have to hotglue the crystal (silver metal cylinder) down or it will vibrate and snap off with a hard landing if used in an FPV quadcopter. I had this happen twice the second time the leg snapped off at the base so I have to get a new crystal to fix it.Otherwise, this is a great camera and with wide dynamic range enabled I can point into the sun and still see ground detail then fly into shade without having a big iris adjustment period where I'm blind.

This camera was great when I tested it at receipt. However, I put it up until ready to install into my quad and I can't get it to power on now that I'm ready to use it. So, it gets four stars since it failed the second time i used it. They seem to be popular and maybe I just got a dud. I will buy again eventually.

My camera arrived in a nice SC2000 box with the manual, camera, and various cables. They even threw in an extra cable with power, ground, and video signal that I could wire directly to my ZMR250's PDB (rather than needing to hack up the security camera leads). The color quality is great and picture sharp. I've only used it mid-day so I can't say how well it transitions between light and dark like at dusk. The voltage range for this camera is ideal for 3S.

I use this on my FPV 250 quadracer.No complaints here! perfect right out of the box. Super lightweight, and easy on the wallet.Amazingly crisp. It easily outperforms a lot of the higher priced FPV equipment out there. If you have the space forthe circuit board, I would definitely recommend this camera.It does go black and white every once in a while, but I think thats due to the signal strength on my transmitter/receiver.

This is the best camera ever for fpv and for security purposes as well it has so little latency that it's not even noticable this camera is very good in low light and in bright day light the customer service is fantastic they respond right away and help with any concerns or questions you may have and this camera is totally worth the price compared to other cameras out there on the market

This is still one of the best board cameras out there. It is a little big but still fits my 250 without issue.
