We're not experts in Indian food by any means, but I do love tossing curry powder into a meal now and then.This stuff has a little kick, and is less sweet than some curry powders we've tried.We've added it to meats, mixed-stuff-in-a-pan, and rice. Haven't found anything it wasn't good in.

I didn't like it personally.. Not enough to keep it. Giving it to a friend.However compared to 2 other curry powder I tried, this was definitely the best.

Through years of trial and error, I've learned I don't like curries with cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. They give dishes a dessert-y dimension I find unpleasant. I've been searching for the perfect blend and this is it! It's hot, curry-ish and delicious. I've experimented with using it in salad dressing, chicken salad, and deviled eggs and it's the perfect blend for my taste. There's no aftertaste and no funky cookie flavor.My only quibble is the "mild" description. This curry is quite spicy, and I love it. Though it's branded as Authentic Indian Curry Powder, this would make a great base for Chinese, Japanese and Jamaican curries as well.Since my primary interest is flavor, I'm not that much concerned with organic spices, but I do appreciate that it's salt free, which makes it versatile. I'm very pleased. It's everything I was looking for.

I ordered two bottles and when I received them they were no ingredients listed on any of the bottles. I sent the company an email and no reply. I know the ingredients are listed on the Amazon site but why should anyone have to seek out the ingredients. They should be listed on the bottle especially if the curry was ordered for another person.

I cooked curry using this curry powder and discovered it to be the best I have ever had. It had the right spice without the fire of chili peppers. I will purchase this one again and recommend it highly.

This type of curry does have a sharp aroma as the description states. However, it tastes less like curry and a whole lot more like cumin. I'll have to blend this with other authentic curry to get that true taste I'm seeking.
